They give you degrees with fancy gold stamps on them for a reason! :mad: I'm not mad... I just want to know, the waiting is killing me! Okay, I don't want to know... I want to know I got it... I don't want to know I didn't get it... I want to know I got it... that's what I want to know.... :shock:

If it was me I would take the game away from him until he can earn it back. Have him do odd jobs around the house, do homework on time, no hassles for two weeks. If he has been good....give the game another try,

When my son was still living at home, hubby would put a password on the computer until all chores were done, home work and after at least speaking to us for a few minutes over dinner about his day. He knew his dad meant business and the computer would be locked until everything was done. Had a few tears every now and then and begging me for the password, lucklily I never knew what it was.

How old is your son? Breaking a desk just for getting angry at a game needs some form of punishment. IMO of course.

It seems like they have a lot of interest in you. If they're doing back ground checks, education checks that has to mean they want you.

Job market is looking up....My brother has been out of work since November. He has sent out 70 resumes and got nothing back in return. 71st resume, he had just sent it and got a reply within 45 seconds. Guy called him in, interview, sent him for a medical exam and hired him all the same day. My brother is the happiest I have seen him in a long time. Gets a really nice company car, no on call and no weekends.

Congrats to your brother, sounds like he was out of work for some time. :( I know I'd be very happy if I was out of work for that amount of time too! Well, as with anything this high profile, they're very picky and have to be. I do have a little hiccup that can make them give me the stink eye sometimes, so I tend to nail bite sometimes... that's what's causing all my fret. My education is there, my grades are there, my references are there, my hard work is there... just a little hiccup is all. :P Either I will get it or I won't, all I can do it say I tried. :( They're interested, I just have to hope they're going to act on the interest! :P

It never hurts to give them a call. Keep your name fresh in their minds. I actually liked people who did that when I was hiring pharmacy techs. Not becoming a stalker of course:giggle:

:laugh2: Yes, I understand... I don't want to call now as of yet being I submitted my fingerprints and for my drug test on Thursday and they told me background checks and drug tests took a minimum of 7 days. So, I definitely don't want to blow them up or anything like that. While I do want the position, I don't want to seem desperate either. The pay difference would be nice and to be away from the people I work with now and the environment I'm in now would be even better! I just keep doing what I'm doing and crossing my fingers! There were people interviewing in there with PhD's so I wouldn't be surprised if I wasn't their top pick honestly, I do not yet have my PhD and am quite a ways out from that! Again, I'm just staying positive, that's all I can do. :)

Ugh, I hope so... I hope that this little hiccup isn't going to get in the way... :ugh: It always seems to pop up at the most inconvenient times! :mad: Just trying to keep my head up and keep pushing through daily life... :ugh:

I need all the hugs I can get right now I think I'm losing my hair! :hug: :laugh2:

I know how you feel..... caught a nasty stomach bug a few years back, and not only that, I also caught a nasty sinus infection at the exact same time...... you do not want these two mixing, as they WILL mess you up like they did to me.

it always happens when you about to go away as I am Thursday...5hours on a coach not looking forward to that
 
Hmm. Well, for me, that sinus infection was the worst one I had ever had, and the stomach virus might have had something to do with my developing a lung infection after I got better-- that took 3 months to recover from, as there wasn't a lot I could do but let it go away on its own, and thankfully it did, just in time prior to my taking the stage for the theater season.
 
what I caught from brat comes with rash and brats Doctor said take up to 3months to go
when Homer trys to strangle Bart good move (Simpsons)
