Yes, running water is more important than keeping a child with his mother to whom he is bonded. :roll:

If she refuses shelter and assistance......yeah I think running water is more important than a mother that would make those choices.

OK Ive lived in a shelter for 6 months after I left foster care I lived in the local ywca. heres the deal:

parents would lie about the kids age(a 15 year old boy becomes 12)
parent smoke/make drugs with their kids in the room
the boyfriends would climb in the windows and stay the night

this is all happening with night staff

Just saying they do have access, just that they are mentally sick that they don't want people make them go. Some homeless people are like that.

Having access to a VA hospital doesn't mean they have access to services for the homeless.

It's tragic that veterans are one of the largest growing population groups joining the homeless. It's a national disgrace.

Agreed. And access to those VA hospitals certainly isn't doing anything to correct the situation.

Well, with this health care mandate to levy a fine on the uninsured is seen as a tax disguised as a "penalty" or a "fine" because as a tax it will raise substantial revenue. Furthermore, why would this penalty be seen as a tax? Well, people must report it on their tax returns “as an addition to income tax liability.” Too bad Obama was dumb enough on not understanding that this penalty is a taxation when he said last year in September saying, “For us to say that you’ve got to take a responsibility to get health insurance is absolutely not a tax increase,” while talking with George Stephanopoulos on the ABC News program “This Week.”

thats old news.. all states already control low classes/ Poverty people across nation by Medical system they can accpet or reject. they try to control wealth classes, and middle classes by heath care.. their goal is FASCISM COMMUNIST FIRST before soicalist and economic bring into new 21 century.
