Astoria Column, in Coxcomb Hill, Oregon, stationed at the highest point in the state.

Depth of 12 feet, 125 Feet high, stationed on 600 feet elevation, takes 164 steps up, 12 cartoons on it. Made in 1926. Cost $27,133.96 to make on July 22, 1926.

I have a friend in Oregon who once mentioned of a bizarre monument that had cartoons on it. I had no idea what the heck he was talking about then, until today.
