that means 3 prison facilities must be upgraded/built for them.
$$$$$$$$$ x 3 = epic fail

they don't have a luxury to wait for that.
What exactly did you see, who shot them, when were they shot, and who verified them?whoa whoa whoa aside from seeing those pictures and videos we seen on CNN months ago?
They can be temporarily housed until it's completed.
Accusations, not proof.and plus the testimonies by whistleblowers and guards.

Even if abuses happened, how would a change in geography prevent abuses?

...which will cost twice as much money than if we waited to house them in their own prison facilities.
and that's a huge security risk.
Temporarily? In what, tents? No. Temporary housing must be just as secure as permanent housing. They can be temporarily housed until it's completed.

Besides, how much you want to bet that if they are housed in anything "temporary" or incomplete, they will complain that they are being held in inadequate or inhumane facilities?
They still require modification and moving out current prisoners. Our brig in Charleston spent many thousands of dollars just to modify one wing for three prisoners. The brig at Miramar (CA) is identical to Charleston, so they would probably have to do the same thing. I don't know how much more modification would be required for larger numbers of prisoners. Not if they were divided up to the 3 military prisons that are already under consideration.....

Temporarily in terms of being divided up to the 3 military prisons that are already under consideration--South Carolina, Kansas and California.
Secondly--what prisoner doesn't complain about inadequate or inhumane facilities? It comes with the territory.

BINGO! In the case of the GITMO detainees, it becomes headlined "abuse" in the national and international press. Isn't that the reason everyone is demanding the closing of GITMO in the first place?Secondly--what prisoner doesn't complain about inadequate or inhumane facilities? It comes with the territory.
it always costs extra money for prisons to add more prisoners. how else do they support them otherwise?
