There's nothing unique about a traitor and that's all he is...a frightened young man singing like a canary and without a country. He doesn't have style...just luck and soon that too will run out. If he was so important, the Chinese and Russia would never have let him go...but they see him as being totally useless and dead weight....and they didn't even make any effort to keep him. Says a lot....

I personally don't think Edward Snowden is traitor because he told us about how our government is doing, including break the promise by Obama.

Good luck to US federal when they try to catch him - I don't think it will be easier.

no. Snowden's case is exactly same as anybody's case. It's just a political game. and 007.

Oh really? CIA used to play greater role in military coup in South America during 1970's so seems they don't anymore, so that why I said today is different from past.

If you needed Snowden to tell you what our government does (and what all governments do), God help you because you're really in the dark. If he remained in this country and stood his ground, people might feel more sympathic for him. Telling any country that will have him government secrets to save his skin, just makes him a coward.

Update!!!

Snowden wants to make a deal with the U.S. government. I wonder why. Maybe he doesn't like other countries in which he was hiding.

I think it was Snowden's father who want to make a deal with US government.

You have a good point so I agree with you.

Too late, it's the 5th today.
Americans support the Fourth Amendment (and all of the Bill of Rights) every day. The Fourth of July (Independence Day) helps us focus on those rights but it's not the only day we think about them. :)
