If he gets caught by FBI, he will be brought back to US. Never say never.

FBI has no authority to enter Ecuador, Venezuela, Cuba, Russia to arrest Edward Snowden.

Ecuador, Venezuela, Cuba and Russia aren't friendly to US.

I think Edward Snowden will enjoy his life in Ecuador.

Correction: FBI has no authority to arrest/detain anyone outside of US.

If I were whistleblower so I will flee to Ecuador before make a public announcement, also Russia and Venezuela are safe haven for American whistleblowers.

Russia is too cold, however Moscow is very interesting to visit but crime is very high and too many government crack on anti-Putin protest. If you support Putin so you will have great opportunity with this country. Venezuela has MANY political protest everyday, even pro-Chavez and anti-Chavez got in fight everyday. The protest will be part of my daily life and crime is very high too, also it is very easy to own assault weapon.

Ecuador is stable country, use US dollar as official currency and affordable place to live. I like Ecuadoran president (Rafael Correa), despite about unfriendly to US government.

I visited Ecuador in 1970. It was a very interesting country. We hiked into Auca Indian territory, and some dangerous areas. I don't know how stable it is but I heard that the current president was friends with the late Hugo Chavez. I can't like a leader who is unfriendly to my country.

Cool, I know about Correa was friend with Chavez but I could careless about Venezuelan government now.

After NSA/PRISM scandal, I have very negative taste on federal government and they are very regressive, including Obama Admin and Bush Admin.

I used to like Obama a lot but not anymore after NSA scandal, also I couldn't trust him anymore.

I don't have much respect to federal authorities now.

Laughing at me? No shit! Anyway in the back of my mind, FBI is not interested in him because he's a nobody.

You are very funny because you think FBI is anywhere so they can arrest/detain Edward Snowden.

It isn't true because FBI can't do anything outside of US.

What the hell are you talking about? In the past, some countries have asked FBI to come over to help investigating the crimes. Am I wrong?

BTW, CIA can kidnap Snowden and fly him over to FBI in USA but I don't think they will do it because he's a nobody. In other words, bye bye Snowden, have a good life.

Not really, that must be extremely rare with authorization from government in other countries so FBI can't enter without any authorization, so I know Ecuador, Russia and Venezuela won't welcome them to their countries.

CIA? That's tough luck and our government don't use those practice anymore since 1970's.

Actually, I think you meant U.S. Marshall that deports immigrants, detainees, suspects who is extradition to America to face court charges. FBI can not go aboard to investigate crimes in another country by Americans. Also U.S. Marshall also patrols passenger planes for passenger's safety since 9/11.

Right. The only other circumstance I can think of is by invitation from the other country they might share resources in an international investigation, such as with Interpol or Scotland Yard. However, even then, the FBI would be acting only as advisors.

a nobody? well of course... anybody who works for NSA and CIA is usually a nobody. that's why you know nothing about them. that's exactly how they want it.

you do realize that Eric Snowden was a NSA consultan and used to work for CIAt? you do know what this means, right? you do know what he did, right? he just released an information about a highly-classified surveillance program.

and he has been accused of committing a few treasonous charges under Espionage Acts. that's a very serious charge.... and trust me - FBI is certainly very interested in taking him into custody.

yes you are wrong. you must be thinking of FBI investigators going to U.S. Embassy and USS Cole. They were not asked by some countries. It's the American sovereignty.

incorrect. that would be illegal. and the country would be extremely angry about it. a kidnapping in their own country.

How would you feel if we found out that KGB kidnaps somebody in America and then "ship" him to Russia?

hint - this has happened before and it has caused a strain in our diplomatic relationship.

Go back to law school and learn more! Perhaps political science as well.

It is NOT easy as you think it appears. You see Hong Kong refused to do anything why? Because two reasons, first, lack of evidence from Uncle Sam, so they don't honor their request, secondly Hong Kong view this as political so refused to do anything. If USA were stupid enough to step on Hong Kong and kidnap, the world will watch USA which is NOT good!

Now that he is in Russia, if USA decided to kidnap him in Russia, it WILL piss Russian government big time and CAN backfire relationship.

I can see why, the world knows United State's 1st amendment and they see that USA has violated Snowden 1st amendment, why would they support country government that don't live up with its own laws?

huh? 1st Amendment? exposing national security stuff to the world is treasonous. pretty much all countries have laws against that. it's a treason.

Exposing what NSA was doing to Americans in America, while he's in America is one thing. That could be whistle blowing.

Exposing what NSA was doing to foreign nationals in other countries, while he's overseas (especially unfriendly countries) is a totally different issue. That is NOT whistle blowing. I would call that treason.

Giving the game book to the other team is always :nono:
