FBI wants to access your online etc.

No, because he's spilling government info with foreign governments. He's already in enemy hands because he's been singing like a canary to absolutely anyone that will listen.

Russia is getting a tad sick of him frankly because he's on their soil and has not asked them for asylum but seems to be asking for it from just about everyone else, including Iceland. They were willing to take him if he agreed to stop blabbing but he didn't want that. For someone that wants to be seen as "the spy that came in from the cold," he hasn't really thought out this half baked plan that well. I feel for his parents. They're learning about this as everyone is, on the Internet. It's a wonder they don't stroke out from stress. Kind of makes you wonder about his character to put his family through this...willingly.

I don't know why are you saying no. I have no idea about what are you talking.

Snowden leaked it via media but not sure about foreign government (some people assume so).

That all I took from media, though.

I'm saying no, the U.S. is not demanding him back into the country to prevent him from falling into enemy hands - he's already in enemy hands and he's spilling the government info to everyone's face at this point so at this time, he's already pretty useless to any foreign government. One of the main reasons that China let him depart (told him to leave outright) is that they saw him as a thorn in their sides. He really hasn't been saying anything China doesn't already know, Hell, they've been doing the same thing. Russia already knows everything that Snowden knows too. At this point, they're hoping to use the young man as a bargining chip to get one of their spies. So no one is really interested anymore in what he's saying, just what they can get in exchange for him.

I means further.

I don't know about any classified documents that Snowden hasn't leak yet and WikiLeaks support him.

They're using him, which is exactly what Snowden's father has been saying. Everyone has something to gain by using Snowden as a pawn...except Snowden himself, which is yet another reason why his family wants him to return.

Oh I see, how are you feeling about him?

I don't feel anything about him; he dug this hole himself. I feel for his family; his parents and loved ones are the only innocents in this story.

Oh I see.

For me, I thanked him for let me know about what our government is doing, but his action wasn't smart. I have knowledge about government spying for many years, including Bush Admin and Obama Admin because of PATRIOT Act. I'm not going hate Obama because of NSA case, but I disapproved him in security and privacy case. It is sad about Obama protects NSA as same as Bush but I guess it was government's job to defend the program - poor taste.

It's our government's job to protect our people from all enemies, foreign and domestic, by any means necessary...and it goes way beyond Obama and Bush....always has. As I said this "program" is not new or unique to us or this administration.

Yes, I agree with you.

Why do you worry too much? NSA doesn't care about you.

I'm concerned about constitutionality of government spying because it is violation of Fourth Amendment.

If US Supreme Court doesn't allow because of unconstitutional so government has to discontinue the program.

You hadn't become victim of unwarranted search by FBI so you think NSA is cool.

But but but NSA helped FBI prevent 50 terror plots. Are you glad about that? If no NSA, then how can FBI find out about future terror plots????

As a government employee and a civilian I support the program. People on this forum may disagree and quote the constitution all they want, but the program keeps this country and its citizens safe. This is the world we live in; that some people choose to be in the dark about it is unfortunate but it doesn't change how important the program is...and I say this as someone that absolutely hates Obama and has never voted for him...but I do support him in this. Had I been in Snowden's shoes, I would followed orders and slept well knowing that I did my part to keep this country safe...whether I win any popularity contests or not.

I'm not sure about how NSA helped and I think it is pretty exaggerate.

You have to amend the constitution to allow government spying, in case if US Supreme Court kill it.

Ok, no plm and just respect each other's opinions.

Yeah, Jiro and Foxrac panic for nothing. Poor them!

panic? but... Snowden is proving us right about what government is doing illegally to American citizens and yet you think Snowden is a criminal and our government is not.

are you sure you're not drunk at this moment?

I sleep well knowing that there are people out there to prosecute people breaking the laws in the name of security.

Where is proof? Snowden's words are not proof, sad to tell you.

Drunk or not drunk, I can handle myself. If you are drunk, I doubt you can handle yourself. Korean blood, very easy to pass out.

I don't drink like you... therefore I can handle myself. the only difference between us is that you will get arrested despite of you claiming "I can handle myself"
