what? nonsense. they found nothing. just about everybody's household contain similar materials to build bombs just like this one.

You are right except FBI didn't interview the younger guy. FBI should watch his brother's activities after he came back from Russia in 2012. FBI recently found his browsing history on his computer after he died.

It is awful to think that if the FBI had check up on the guy after coming back from Russia that it could had prevented the bombing from happening.

Senators... I can understand them complaining like a bunch of unpatriotic cowards. they're politicians. they're paid to complain in order to blame Obama and whoever.

The FBI said they get 5,000 requests from other counties to do back ground checks on people. . If there are not enough FBI agents to do the background checks we should stop sending $$$ to other countries and hire more FBI agents.

That's possible that the bombings wouldn't happen if FBI checked his place after he came back. All I can say is that the Russian government was right in the first place. I bet they still have records of his activities that proved he was a follower of radical Islam while he stayed there. The question is that whether they provided those records to FBI or not. If they did and FBI ignored it, that's messed up.

We don't need more agents since we also have DHS (Dept of Homeland Security) for that purpose.

we already have USIS. and private defense contractors as well like maybe CACI, Titan (L-3), and dozens of agencies that most Americans have never heard of.

even with more background checks and FBI agents - it wouldn't prevent this bombing. there's simply no way of knowing it would happen. there was no clue at all. nothing. all I can suggest is a Thought Police if you really want this to be prevented.

in case you didn't know - DHS is not actually another federal agency with "more" federal agents. it's more of just an office with a big man behind a big desk with a big telephone where he has to wait for a call from the Prez.

but what we do need is re-prioritizing and re-tasking FBI back to domestic issues. they're allocating just about nearly entire of its resources on international terrorism. it's ridiculous and absolutely unnecessary. it's clearly illegal for FBI to expand that much to international level. that's what CIA is for.
