Do you have a contingency plan?

It has a yellow and black shelter sign?

yup! so are our local schools. it's kinda funny... I live in this town for 8 years and I just noticed that sign on synagogue couple weeks ago. weird that I pass by it everyday. :dunno:

perhaps posting a picture of this sign would enable others to know where their shelters are in their local communities?

Nope, don't have plan B... I am in the rural... have spring fed water... a pond.... um.. a few animals that are edible... herbs... I don't think about it, honestly. I am not paranoid. If it happens, it happens.

so ... correct me if I am wrong ... your contingency plan is not to worry about it?

I am just kidding man ... :giggle:

I haven't found any shelters posted for the Lowcountry yet. There might not be any because we can't even put in basements. Even in-ground pools are built up with above-ground skirting. Our water table is too high. Even when we install fence posts, water comes bubbling up.

We also have no hills, so nothing can be built into the the sides of them.

I suppose shelters could be built if they were bermed.

We probably have a bullseye on our back anyway:
