I asked the same question: God Fearing? Why should we FEAR God?? This was what I was asking then; and this the answer given me: Imagine your father. You indeed love him because he's your dad- your flesh and blood. But did you know that you also fear him? You have a fear of disappointing him because you love him so very much. It is because of your fear for your father that you love him. It is a good kind of fear. It is not a fear as being afraid or stressed out. It is one element of divine love for God.

That's how "god fearing" was explained to me.

Logical

That's right. They don't believe in Jesus Christ of the holy Triune God but in "another" Jesus.

II Corinthians 11
3 But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ. 4 For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or if ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with him.

This is your belief to beleive in Jesus is God but JW beleive in Jesus Christ but beleive differently as you is their belief.

Well IMO without this book as you recalled, how will we know about God? You asked us if we believe God?

Well ... that's the fact about God that we learned from the bible. The bible is also based on our daily lives. Sorry you don't feel we can't quote from it then some of us can't post anything further in your thread. Good Luck!

There´re different stories in different Bible. It´s people´s decision to choose to beleive in.

Liebling: Can you tell that I (years ago) knew my stuff...I made a good Christian once. But no more- because of weeks of research on a subject I assumed would strengthen my relationship with the Almighty, my faith collapse and turned to ash in a blink of an eye.

It was all for not.:pissed:

Remember that discussing spiritual matters is a two way street. Your skin must be thick in order to take it or if you can't then that means you are not quite sure of your own strength of faith.

Thank you.

That was I was told by a few people about what it meant. I think it is a compliment but I guess some people dont like that label. Just liek deaf people dont like to be called hearing impaired...maybe to them it is not a nice label?

I voted uncertain

Yes I second that. We have to accept if they don´t like to be label something... it doesn´t mean that we mocking when we see different as them but they have to accept our different view as well.

You call these that you have said out of respect? More of a form of mockery. Educated yourself, Sir. :)

I has to give you right that it´s unfair to say like this.

If you're allow to speak freely how come they cannot? hmmm doesn't sound fair to me. but hey its your thread...

Of course you have the right to express your feeling what you think. It´s not fair when thread creator express his own feeling freely when you can´t.

No, no, no. Everyone should talk freely. I never said the contrary. All I am doing is defending myself from the personal attacks and misunderstandings of others. Hey I’m a good guy. Don’t paint me as the Devil because I am not.

Understood and acceptance.

Yes I can understand where you come from. You are not alone but some ADers were former Christians as well and share their experience as well. It´s also some ADers who were former JW as well who turn into Christianity belief.

I am neutral to any religions. I myself don´t have religion to worship to God but beleive in reality.

Thank you.

First, you are not "freely expressing yourself" you are -repeatedly- opening threads painted as 'questions' in which you take the first opportunity possible to inject your opinion on the topic and stick with it. It's annoying!

Second, not wanting to be questioned in faith does -not- make you any less of a believer: I know that I love G-d, but I also know that I dislike being questioned in that love.. it is between me and Him.

My faith is not yours to test.

I am entitle to my opinion, Liebling.

 I think you misunderstand me. I said that you are right to express what you think because someone stated unfair like this. I did said that I gave you right.

Oh ok, I supposed I did misunderstood you for that I apology. :ty:

I was playing. Come on. It was joking words.

OK, how about this? "Let's kick those non-believers butts to hell"?

Would you find ANY OF this humor? I think not.

Remember respect goes both ways.

*peace out*..

Excuse me but I am not the way you think I am. I know that your faith is not mine to test. You may not agree, but I only have good intension. Let's be friends Aleser. Enough of the misjudgments and accusations. They do no one any good. Agree?
