Maybe I should be a bit more precise--simply, they do not believe that Christ is part of the Trinity, that is: God, Christ and the Holy Spirit, all as 'one'.

Btw, no one in 'hell' told me anything, they simply can't, they're 'burning up' for all eternity.

Now if I can't freely express myself on spiritual matters, like each of you are doing, then tell me and I will cease my posts. But I believe that I have not made any waves during my visit in this spiritual section of AD. So please give me a break.

Remember that discussing spiritual matters is a two way street. Your skin must be thick in order to take it or if you can't then that means you are not quite sure of your own strength of faith.

They believe that Christ is the son of God...only.

I never said they believed that JC is God. I just answered the wrong statement posted:

Exactly! Not the spiritual jargon but the fact that they do believe in JC in their own unique way. I am Agnostic so you recall. Oh and please do not quote the Bible...that really turns me off. Thanks!

I can surely understand how you might feel in quoting your Bibles...but as for me I am tired of it. For some reason it bothers me to read quotes from that old book. I would rather (fat chance) read it from the book myself, in private. Sorry.

When I used to be a beginner Christian (way back when) I asked the same question: God Fearing? Why should we FEAR God?? This was what I was asking then; and this the answer given me: Imagine your father. You indeed love him because he's your dad- your flesh and blood. But did you know that you also fear him? You have a fear of disappointing him because you love him so very much. It is because of your fear for your father that you love him. It is a good kind of fear. It is not a fear as being afraid or stressed out. It is one element of divine love for God.

That's how "god fearing" was explained to me.

That was I was told by a few people about what it meant. I think it is a compliment but I guess some people dont like that label. Just liek deaf people dont like to be called hearing impaired...maybe to them it is not a nice label?

I have been bashed for not being sure if there is a God or not (not here on AD but out there.) Oh well...life goes on.
