Yes, but I suspect this is a ruse to stir trouble rather than an honest attempt to collect information. It makes the other incessantly questioning threads suspect.
You asked a simple question--now...whether you're derailing your own thread with mockery or attempting to entice others to join into the fray or what
Do they believe that Jesus Christ is God?What!!?? They absolutely do believe in Jesus Christ. Who in hell told you that falsehood. Jesus Christ is central in their ministry and worship. All they do is for Christ. You are totally dead wrong about that one.

Do they believe that Jesus Christ is God?
I read thru your links, and I couldn't find any statement where they proclaimed that Jesus Christ is God Himself.
...umm...pssttt...JW doesn't believe in 'Jesus Christ'.
Therefore, your comment or view of how another person sound isn't valid.
That's right. They don't believe in Jesus Christ of the holy Triune God but in "another" Jesus. They believe that Christ is the son of God...only.

II Corinthians 11
3 But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ. 4 For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or if ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with him.
Exactly! Not the spiritual jargon but the fact that they do believe in JC in their own unique way. I am Agnostic so you recall. Oh and please do not quote the Bible...that really turns me off. Thanks!
I can surely understand how you might feel in quoting your Bibles...but as for me I am tired of it. For some reason it bothers me to read quotes from that old book. I would rather (fat chance) read it from the book myself, in private. Sorry.![]()
No, but I've read The God Delusion.![]()
When I used to be a beginner Christian (way back when) I asked the same question: God Fearing? Why should we FEAR God?? This was what I was asking then; and this the answer given me: Imagine your father. You indeed love him because he's your dad- your flesh and blood. But did you know that you also fear him? You have a fear of disappointing him because you love him so very much. It is because of your fear for your father that you love him. It is a good kind of fear. It is not a fear as being afraid or stressed out. It is one element of divine love for God.
That's how "god fearing" was explained to me.
Have I (at all) been slightly disrespectful to anyone on the entire AD forum?? Oh please…all I have been is honest and respectful to all members. Now if I can't freely express myself on spiritual matters, like each of you are doing, then tell me and I will cease my posts. But I believe that I have not made any waves during my visit in this spiritual section of AD. So please give me a break.
Remember that discussing spiritual matters is a two way street. Your skin must be thick in order to take it or if you can't then that means you are not quite sure of your own strength of faith.
Thank you.
But that is not the reason for the thread. It is simply to know if you believe in God or not- in a Poll thread. So if you cast your vote, you are done with this thread. It's that simple.
