so... you want to charge people for protesting? What happens when you have a complaint? Should we charge you too? This is getting sillier and sillier. Go read some Alice in Wonderland, I think you would enjoy it.

I think the combination of Ayn Rand and extremist right wing sites have become toxic.:giggle: And the result appears to be progressive decline in mental functioning.

What? They are selfish because they want to exercise their right to protest?:laugh2They are selfish because they believe free speech extends to them?:laugh2:

You are hoot!

Well so much for the Constitution. I guess it doesn't apply to the 99% -especially not the damn hippies- and that it only applies to the 1%.

It would appear that the right to free speech and the right to assemble apply only to the fringe extreme.:P The 75% of this country that is in full support of what OWS is about are not allowed rights.

I believe it. :P I have a copy of the Voice of Reason which is a collection of her essays somewhere in my apt. I feel dumber for reading them. :P

Clearly I believe they are selfish for using tactics that cost others money to get their way.

Not at all. Let them protest....... I'm all for it

Let's not forget empathy!

Totally destroys it!

Didn't someone say something about selfishness in the OWS protesters? And that same someone is reading Ayn Rand? I think maybe that someone got the two confused. But then, it's that toxic combination, you know. Leads to errors like that.
I think it is called Randorightnet encephilitis.:P

:laugh2: I think there's something ironic about all this.

No, I am expressing my opinion that it is selfish of OWS to cost taxpayers millions so that they can have their way. My posts are about the protesters and protests. However, many of your posts have been about me.

well what if this OWS is costing taxpayers at least $100,000 per day?

union protest is fine. it only hurts corporation for loss of business per day due to protest and it's usually resolved within few days or so. Same for NBA/NFL/NHL protest.

many protests are peaceful and have specific message. OWS is like WTO protest. There's no specific message pertinent to whatever on the whole. For heaven's sake... didn't you see my picture about... Turkish Army? lol! I have another picture - "John Gambling Called me a zoo creature".

I understand what OWS wants but what they're doing right now has become unproductive and costly for taxpayers.

Not at all. As long as their free speech and assembly is within the law....Have at it

Put down the book, take your fingers from the keyboard, and slowly breath fresh air. The symptoms will get better with time.
