An you what's so great about all the CI-nonsense that is produced by the anti-CI gang lately:

That's one perfect example..that we all write "crap". That is disregarding our opinions, experiences and concerns. If u dont think that is looking down then I dont know what it is.

A while back, until Fuzzy came along, I thought the tide was turning and we were heading toward some semblance of civilty......shoot, forget that now, I guess.

When you're deaf, you are handicapped. (you're missing a sense..)

Deafness does not handicap. Hearing society's treatment of those who are deaf creates the handicap.

Give it time, cloggy.......your daughter hasn't even started school yet. You've got many obstacles left for you, and for her.

You are wrong and unfair.

Cloggy, even if he has different opinion than yours, is always very patient and polite, and he is here because he want to share his experience with his DEAF daughter and show you how CI works and step - by- step progress she doing.
Majority of you, instead LEARNING from it, use the information, chose to ignore it, belittle it, and attack and argue with Cloggy whenever he wants to STREIGHTEN OUT the facts about CI.

He ALWAYS said, like all of us, he is for both worlds- ASL, deaf and HEARING, even if temporarily his daughter is not interested in signing.
She was signing BEFORE, now she wants to explore hearing world- what's so hard to understand? she is a very young child, for crissake! she will have a chance to sign a hundred times over yet!

I for one am suprised Cloggy didn't resigned from the forum yet for being attacked and put down constantly.

And here's some irony for you....if he admits his daughter is deaf, and then makes his view of deaf as handicapped so obvious, he obviously sees his daughter as handicapped. And when she gets a bit older and tries to explain her negative experiences to him, he will label them crap. Sad, isn't it?

I have no idea what u are talking about. I was referring to Cloggy's post saying that we write "crap". If we say he writes crap, u would say we put him down, right? Guess it is ok for him to say that stuff but not ok for us? Ok whatever.

I have never said that Cloggy never signed with his daughter so your point was? I have acklnowledged in the past and even corrected other AD members about Cloggy using signs with his daughter.


This was about when we expressed our concerns, opinions or share our experiences, it is called "crap." Nothing about him and his daughter. :ugh3:

I am not suprised you don't understand. You picked from my entire, long post something that is convenient to Maria only.

here is the explanation:

I had prolonged discussion with Liebling about hearing, and other things.
I tired to explain something to her and she is not getting it, BUT she thinks she do. She is convinced she do.
So, to illustrate to Liebling what is happening, I showed her part of our old discussion where the same thing happened - she couldn't get my point
for SO LONG, and only when I found the picture to show her what I mean, ONLY THEN SHE UNDERSTOOD.

Now you know why I am talking about pigs here. To remind Liebling how she couldn't understand me back then. as she doesn't now.



BTW, they way you formed your question, shows clearly that you WANTED TO PUT ME DOWN.

Whatever. So he got finally angry, too. Do you want me to dig out quotes where Cloggy was abused by some of you. too?

I personally was reffered to as "Audiofucker" and told to f..k off, shown fingers, put in straightjacket, recommended therapy for EXPRESSING and defending MY VIEWS and POV.

As for Cloggy and his signing I was talking in general. You don't have to apply everything to you personally.
