Court of public opinion looms large in George Zimmerman murder trial

I think you got that backwards. GZ profiled and stalked TM. Therefore GM was committing the crime. Even after the 911 operator told him to stop following him. But believe what you want.

What was the crime?

Observation is vigilantism now?

that's not what he did - IMO.

you believe he was merely observing. I believe he took matter into his own hands. that's what vigilantism is. people get hurt. let's not forget that so I don't have to keep repeating this like I'm talking to Memento guy.

Perhaps you should go back and reread the post I responded to.

Also, I have no personal belief here, so you are incorrect. To this point the evidence suggests nothing more than observation.

perhaps you should try to remember better this time.

and evidence has suggested no such thing in a conclusive manner.

Here, let me help you.

I think you are confused. Not going to waste my time explaining to a Memento guy again.

correct. because of his vigilantism... it has resulted in 2nd-deg murder.

The manslaughter charge is very suitable for Zimmerman.

Not only that, not one shred of evidence has been introduced to suggest vigilantism. In fact, the Detective testified that following and even approaching to ask "What are you up to?" would not be illegal.

Right, there's nothing wrong with that question if he actually asked it.

Manslaughter for following someone? Because the question being asked was about "following" not what transpired afterward.

for killed Trayvon Martin in nasty confrontation.

:cool2: that isn't what we were discussing. As for the shooting, I haven't seen any evidence presented that suggests murder or manslaughter. There my be some evidence that comes up later but right now this trial is a total farce and a waste of taxpayer money.

How did GZ's bleeding nose get broken and the back of his head cut and bleeding? Did you know that if I smash your head, you could die or get into coma (brain damage)?

The prosecutor will do it eventually.

The trial is still beginning and it is long way from being over.

because Zimmerman had no common sense - he went after suspicious person and got into fatal confrontation.
