OK, I looked at your links. They are time lines of historical events. What point are you trying to make? What do you mean about Europe? How does that fit into the discussion about the Confederate flag? Please explain.

To which white people are you referring? Worldwide white people? People in the Confederate states? People in the Union states? In the American states some were European immigrants but by the time the Civil War started, the majority of white people were born in America, some since several generations.

Some slave owners allowed some of their slaves to learn to read and write, usually because it benefited the slave owner, not necessarily because he was "good." Also, some slaves learned to read on the sly. Some were probably self taught. Also, some freed blacks could teach other blacks to read. "Each one teach one," as the saying goes. Black people wrote letters and kept diaries. That's how we get some of their history.

Just because something was "illegal" doesn't mean it wasn't done. That was just as true in the 19th Century as it is now.

Education system in Europe is probably have rich of teach about WWI and WWII, just like American Civil War in USA but it depends on school system, some of them in America aren't good.

Now, The questions are getting more deeper and detail about civil war.

You don't recognize confederate flag as exist to use in southern states during modern time and there's nothing to stop them, it supposed to be none of your business if they use confederate flag as southern heritage or southern pride, that's their own.

In bold, I don't care if others are used as pride, even confederate flag is still popular used for southern pride, that what I know because of live in south.

I think nothing of it. I don't think it's so much a regional thing as it is a state of mind. Rebel flag= non-conformist, outsider, individual.

Yup, If neo-nazi use confederate flag then there's no make sense because nazi were occurred in Germany since confederate is occurred in America.

Yeah, I agree; maybe those who hold dear the original meaning of this flag should raise another flag to go after these hate mongrels: an old Battle flag of the South. I'll try to see if I can find it; if I remember right, it was yellow and has an image of a snake on it.......
