'Company Policy: We are not hiring until Obama is gone'

Yep. You guys are really grasping at straws. The OWS movement has you scared. Their message is being agreed with far more than yours.:laugh2:

Tea Party didn't last long and it was already forgotten. I can see how that angers some people in here... and the jealousy oh my!

We are living in very troubling times. I agree with some of what has been said. The private healthcare system is better than government run systems in most other countries but the problem that I see with government run healthcare here is that our government has failed to run itself efficiently. I'm half afraid they would screw that up too. The private sector has been quite greedy but frivolus lawsuits haven't helped. I don't have a problem with big business as long as they are operating above board. But when there are government bailouts and insider trading that is wrong. Our system is still better than anywhere else in the world as far as I concerned but there does truly need to be some changes. For starters we need to either reform or get rid of the democrat and republican parties. Most politicians that have been around for a long time probably need to go home. We must unite on some front or it will never happen. I like they idea of OWS joining the Tea Party in some ways. We need strong patriotism again. Prayer wouldn't hurt either.

do you have private health insurance?

What about those who are incapable of "earning" it?
This is a Deaf forum and laughable to extoll the virtues of serving in the military.

No, to suggest that people who served didn't earn their benefits is laughable.

Many people were declined by the military for a variety of reasons. That in no way diminishes the service of those who were accepted and served.

Also, many deaf people, including many here on this forum, DO work for the Federal government and receive government sponsored health care.

She paid a price for those VA health care services. She served her country. Nothing is being "provided".....it was earned.

PRECISELY!

Let's see.... poor Americans are given Medicaid/Medicare at our expenses because they're too poor to afford it. Rich Americans are given privatized healthcare at their and our expense because they're too rich to afford it.

Now can we say same for middle Americans? nope! Precisely what Obamacare is aiming at. to close that gap.

You're using the conservative tactic of being deliberately obtuse and refusing to answer the question. What else is new?

Here's a tissue. Wipe that brown smudge off your nose.:cool2:

Oh, I answered it quite clearly. Those who are not qualified for military service have to seek a career elsewhere. Many people fail to qualify.

Now we're getting somewhere. Do they not deserve our kindness and charity? Charity from just a voluntary few, or should there be a national policy to look after them?

Who exactly are "they"

Who exactly are "they"

Dude, I know the world is full of a number of things and that we should all be happy as kings, but there are many people who simply cannot work. What of them?

So, by "they" you are referring to the disabled?

do you have private health insurance?

Yes, or maybe some would consider it government since I work for the city and they pay for mine while I pay for my family but it is private insurance company.

Most rich pay for their own insurance. Most middle class have company paid private insurance as well if they are working. That may end if the government gets involved.
I know the older folks get Medicare too. Maybe that's what your speaking of?
