I just saws a headline on line saying this "Gator attack: Disney knew of problems, staffer asked for fence at lagoon " This doesn't look good for Disney .

Why can't I bring it up? Is there some rule that guns are a taboo subject now?

If the father had a gun, his son would be alive. Guns save lives.

It is probably not banned at Disney hotels if you are concealed so it will be more of trespassing, also there are no security check at hotels.

What? The article that Calvin didn't saying about fence at lagoon. You should, should know that Disney used lagoon for boating around the park.

You seems fine for irresponsible parents to not watch their child and let them playing in No Swimming zone.

but it wasn't fatal in 1986, anyway so it is first time for Disney to got one of child killed by gator in 45 years (since 1971).

There is solution - call hunters to unlimited kill all gators in Disney lagoons only.

It will be very creepy if you go to abandoned Discovery Island and people said it is home of full gators and snakes.
 
The Disney sign said "no swimming." It didn't say "or wading." There is a difference. There are places where swimming is not allowed but wading is, then there are some places where neither is allowed. Each place should have the signage that is appropriate to the situation. In the case of alligators, there should be a specific warning about alligators. No swimming, and even no wading is not enough because gators live on land.
 
so that why there are more endowed chairs in/for/of animals rights at elite law schools and none on disability chairs? then environmentalists with no kids disgust me...

The dad would not had been allowed into Disney if he had a gun on him ! So I see no point in turning this into a gun debate , no you can talk about all guns
all you want on the gun thread . Do we have to turn every thread into a gun thread ?
