Do we have to turn every thread into one about you WDYS?

How do you even get AOL anymore? I had it as a dial up service back in 96....sheesh.
I use this as a back up when Verizon has tech trouble . I have no idea how I still get AOL , I had it when I had dial up too and told them I wanted to close my account so I am surprise I still have it. I tried to tell people not to send me email on it anymore and some still do.

Well if they're that dense I'm sure there is a way to find out how to have the AOL mail forwarded to whatever email you are using now. AOL news isn't always that reliable anyway and am surprised you don't google to corroborate.

I'm not even gonna comment on the divided reaction to the parents. Saw a very good post on FB about this whole "Blame and shame" culture that has grown in the last 10 years as opposed to what happened in the 80s with Adam Walsh and Baby Jessica. Were those parents at fault? Back in those days, the nation didn't think so.

Ugh.

I had figured the kid may have just been dabbling at the edge of the lagoon or wading...a 2 year old can't swim so... parents may have thought it was okay... and being from Nebraska likely didn't realize that alligators can easily come up to land.

It is like turning into AD conference thread about how to fix the member's behavior issues.

I'm going find tools to fix the derail to put this thread back on right track.

Maybe it would help if you grew a brain.

LOL!!! She put us on her ignore list.

I think about want send a feedback to Alex to disable the ignore list on forum so she will have deal with us.

The dad would not had been allowed into Disney if he had a gun on him ! So I see no point in turning this into a gun debate , no you can talk about all guns
all you want on the gun thread . Do we have to turn every thread into a gun thread ?

So, either way, if his dad had a 44 mag, his son would be alive. A) he never visits Disney because his gun is not allowed or B) he has his gun and kills the alligator rather than trying to wrestle his son out of its jaws.

44 Mag = win-win on both counts

Is 44 Mag easily concealed? If you can concealed at Disney hotels so it is probably not problem as long as Disney doesn't know about you, also leave at hotel or car when go to park.

I really doubt the child would still be alive after being bite by an alligator , he a was small child ,. You don't know this for a fact that dad wouldn't had gone
to Disney b/c the dad had NO idea he had any needs for his gun while at Disney which is called 'The Happiest Place in the world" or something like that !
And the dad may not even own a gun so this prove my point there no point in bring up a gun. and there no point to go about this . A child has dies a horrible way and the poor family are in deep pain . They have to live with this and I can't imagine how to deal with this .

No, it is not easily concealed.

If you are going to allow your children to wander around where carnivorous reptilian predators are notorious for being, without a gun, then don't you think that is a bit foolish?

Walt Disney World was not able to protect that 2 year old, and neither was the father ( he didn't have a gun )

Being ignorant is no defense and does not bring their child back from the grave.

Without guns? The US Marine could their job to protect the kids and beat gators up to death.

FYI, some people don't like or don't want to carry guns so it will be moot if you suggest them to do it.

After all, Disney is notoriously anti-gun and they support gun control laws so you can avoid Disney World and Disneyland, but for me, I don't care... I'm just like... "that's life".
