Child Dragged Into Water By Alligator At Disney

It was an alligator but I really don't think this matter , now the parents will have a some comfort in being able to bury their child . How heartbreaking this is .
 
which animal feeds on aligators?
are they at the top of the food chain down that way,

i know we eat them. but besides us..

There are a few, depending on the age of it and the area ...
 
Yes, as horrible as this is, they have a body to bury. If the boy had never been found it would have compounded their grief
 
Yeah That is what I said too . Maybe the water should be pumped out and filled in as a park for kids to play in and named of the poor child .
 
Maybe it's because I grew up in Florida and the mentality I have ... You just cannot expect a family from Nebraska to know how incredibly stupid it is to go near a seemingly beautiful calm body of water anywhere in Florida. Not only because of the alligators, but the numerous and various venomous snakes under the surface.

If you visit Florida and want to go swimming, check the pool for alligators and snapping turtles before you dive in. A snapping turtle can dismember you very quickly. Alligators see water and they dive right in. A lake or pond is a bad idea and you are taking a risk. At least with a swimming pool, the water is clear.

Like jumping off a bridge without looking to see whats under it first.
 
It's likely the boy was drowned by the alligator, very unfortunate for the family. I'm sending prayers for the boy's family during the difficult time on their family vacation.
 
BUT... BOTH THE PARENTS NEED TO BE JAILED FOR CHILD ENDANGERMENT AS THEY SEEN THE "NO SWIMMING" SIGNS POSTED AND STILL ALLOWED THE CHILD TO GO INTO THE WATER. simple as that, stupidity.
 
Sono, the family is from Nebraska, it may be their first time in Florida, and they may not be aware of the alligators. The child just wandered into the water maybe a step or two and that's when alligators snatched.
 
This is worthy of a serious Facebook post,, I have a lot of friends that visit Florida and they have no idea how lethal it can be so spread the word

Why? The alligators have as much right (if not more) to be there than your park. Humans sometimes disgust me.
 
are those critters becoming more a plm?
ive seen more chatter about them these days...

snacking on people and stuff, last week their was that body from a gator, then the godzilla baby roaming the golf course, now this..

As long as people keep developing down there, the gators and other animals have less and less places to go.

pumping out a lagoon? that would be almost impossible task.... and environmentally disastrous.
