I have to agree with Mistyrose on this one. My older brother was a high level intelligence officer in the Air Force from the mid-80s to the mid-90s. There are things that the public does not need to know about. When people are going to work every day, going shopping, taking their kids to baseball practice, etc. they don't need their minds burdened with all the things the intelligence community knows about. He has seen a number of people come in with a more liberal mindset and have their world view changed almost instantly. "Man, I never knew the world was really like this" is a phrase he heard numerous times.
And the truth doesn't always come out. There is still information kept classified going back decades, even centuries.
Yep, you are exactly right! Why do you think they keep the people
out of area 51 in New Mexico, heh? its a highly classified area, thats
why. The Government is not allowed to release any classified
information to the public, period.
I have a neighbor in New York who was a former Marine Chemist
working in the Pentagon, now retired after the 9/11 attack. He is
not allowed to discuss anything to do with the attack and he does
not have computer, telephone in his house for some strange reason.
He will not tell us why. Maybe he was ordered to do this, i dont know.
Kinda freaky to me...
