I'm expected that you would quality to get CI soon. ;)

my hook-up day is this coming Wed. So looking forward to it. Going to my first beach next month, gonna hear lots of new things and hopefully understanding someone talking in the car for 10 hours ride there without getting so bored. lol

Your dreaming. Never will happens. I dont support CI device anyway. I feel good and happy for not having to hear all that noise pollution around me anymore.

I dont need to whine about my being deaf because I love it.

Right on! I, for one, AM Deaf too but I don't want to be "lumped" with her...
Stacie, this makes me think of "you are not the boss of me"! LOL

I would never "lumped" you with her, you're too sweet and very open-minded. I rarely post to her, but she keeps upsetting me for not trying to look at any bright side of hearing aid or CI. Makes me think she has phobia of noises, i dunno.

Thousands of people who have not been trained have been very successful, of course training does help alots. I am sure fixing something like this is very basic and can be done but if it was to take the hearing aid apart and fix the mechanics of it then would have to go to school or follow the instructions on the internet or through a do it yourself book.

I disagree, as the electronics and computerized programming of it is beyond anyone's training.

Sweetmind.. if you don't have something nice to say then hush your damn mouth!

Hey you FelixKat930,

Are we being respectful here? Are we part of the problem or part of the solution? We don't need verbal abuse.

Oh, shut up then go help him to find somewhere for repair on broken HA's tube :gives:

How old are you, vocomskatz? Do we need to be verbally abusive and potty-mouthed here?

I'm getting tired of Sweetmind but not fair about everyone who are offensive or insult, you are dissing at me.

I'm 18 years old, also check my profile and you hurt my feeling. :hyper:

Don't worry to much about the narrow minded people who have to come and :blah: :blah: :blah: about how proud they are to not use hearing devices or their voices etc. etc. etc.....:blah: :blah: :blah: Not sure exactly why that person felt they needed to comment on this particular thread, absolutely nothing to do with the oralist, forcing us to use our deaf voices, etc etc etc :blah: :blah: :blah: debate. Evidently it's quite ok for some to be jerks way off the current topic , only explanation is the person is trying to show they are narror minded.

(read and try to follow fragmenters tag.....it's really hard to do tho :) :) :) )

In that case I'm thankful that you won't ever hear sounds.

Now, time is up...

I have agree with Sweetmind then we don't need help him to find out to repair his HA.

If he breaks his HA then not wear it anymore and be proud to being deaf. ;)

I was using the air blower right ?

then I put the molding back on and the stem where it meets the molding broke. The stem just broke right off.

I was trying to put it back in and it just snapped.

I got furious and am not too happy but at least it is under warranty repairs....

so I will have to take it back to the eye and the ear, throat doctor to have a look at it and get it fixed.

Have you guys ever had this experience before ?

think thats bad my hearing aid is a tiny in the ear one ( i forget what it is called) anyway i put it in it little box last week and forgot to close it anyway i woke up next morning and was about to put it on only to find it wasnt there, turns out the cat had played with and normally i was have like cleaned it reallllllllllllllllllllllllly well but it was on the floor and when i got out of bed i stood on it and it broke into like 10 pieces :(

anyway they rekon you should have your mould redone every year here as your ear never stops growing good luck with the repairs!!
