A Thread About Absolutely Nothing! Part III

a street over there's a yard that is still decorated with TONS of Santas (I call it the santa graveyard there's so many...

I have a friend who does that- has a small fake tree and decorates it year-round..and I think another has one dedicated to their favorite NFL team (Steelers) lol.

Would certainly solve the yearly problem of "where do we put the furniture we have to move in order to put the tree where we want it".

I couldn't have said it better. But I don't think my hubby will buy into it. I said we could put up valentines stuff, Easter eggs, 4th of July, Halloween, etc. we now have a gap of where the tree was, and we just moved into our new house, so I don't know what to put there now!

How about something like this (tilt-top tables):

Don't know how easy they are to find these days. I have 2, a large one from my MIL and a small one from my mom. Makes it easy to put them in another room when not in use. In fact they're both currently in a spare room, though I will probably bring the small one back out to put between my two wing chairs.

You've got to get the tree back out and start decorating for valentine's day.

I put away all my Christmas decor about 2 weeks ago, but I left the white lights up in two of the front windows. They don't necessarily have be perceived as Christmas lights. Restaurants use white lights in their outdoor patio trees year-round. I am not sure if I'll keep these up all year, but maybe ...

Oh I love the white lights outside the homes especially during the summer. Just the inflatables are Santas , Rudolph, and A Christmas tree and all 6 of them get inflated first thing in the morning.

You know, that might catch on, the seasonal tree thing. The more I think about it, it may become quite the fad.

It wouldn't work for me because we use real trees and after a month, the tree is so dry and the needles end up all over the floor. Drives me nuts so I am always ready to get rid of it by January.

All right..... tomorrow is the day I go get that artwork I spotted a few weeks back, and also, I spotted some more yesterday, so I'll get that, as well. They are located well west of here, so hopefully I'll get to them.

I got the artwork..... times 4. Wasn't expecting two others there. Now about to tackle the rest of them on Lawrence.
