A 4-Wheels Thread About Absolutely Nothing!

1999 Saab 9-3. undriveable for now but can be drivable if fixed. but I want to get rid of it.

the local mechanic offered $200. any suggestion on how can I get the most bucks out of it?

you better to sell it to a mechanic and grab $$$ better than nothing cuz this car is hard to sell. No one in your place, can part out your car. Hard. Grab the money. Don't spend money to fix it.
If you own oldie Fiats or Alfas and get a rid of them, you will be surprise and kiss big fatty wallet.

Nissan Xterra. ya'all got any opinion about it? :dunno:

Good SUVs with few problems. Trouble with bad distributors that MIL pops up and displays code P0340 camshaft sensors cuz they're built-in distributor assy. Also bad ball bearings. XTERRA'S frames are strong. Good 3.3L engines. I know they come with 2.4L and 4.0L. I ve not seen a 4.0L. I wait to see it someday.

Nissan Xterra is a great SUV with excellent 4x4 capabilities. My friend and I rented one once long time ago and went off road thru the forest in Mt. Rainier National Park. :) I don't know why there aren't many Nissan Xterras around.

Thanks. I have a old picture of the truck perched on a steep incline in a heavy vegetation area, the ground was wet and a little muddy. I need to find it, lol.

Same thing in so. calif. I dont know. Maybe they smack domestic SUVs (mainly Jeeps), I guess so.

Yeah, probably so I guess. Diehardbiker said that Xterras are great, too.

Funny thing that I almost never seen mudded Xterras as they came in for services that I used to working on minor tune ups, brakes and oil changes. We
refuse to service the muddy vehicles such as Jeeps (often) cuz the sand/clay debris on the garage floor as they motion, can bother your eyes when you look up the lifted vehicle for oil change or somethings. We told them to wash the muddy off. If I see heavy muddy covered engine as a customer ask for smog inspection then I reject it period. The reason for muddy covered engine is to cover up aftermarketed parts or defective parts that I cant see. Im not dumb.

Interesting, never knew about that rule. Makes sense, tho. :)

Don't know why they designed it with a small cargo space. It looks somewhat narrow.

Yea I was looking into buying one before..

well - look at jeep. it's small too. if you want bigger one, that's what Pathfinder is for. but if you want an even bigger one... Armada

and dang it... I just went to dealership yesterday. they didn't have it. it's not popular around here but they'll try to get it ready for test-drive this Saturday. Most people around here get something like a small luxury SUV like Nissan Muran and Honda CRV
