"highway in sky" with heads up display and data link are two technology's that are coming that will allow deaf to fly with out hearing pilot on board in class A airspace in fact highway in sky is avaliable now but it cost couple thousand $$$ to have it installed on aircraft...as for data link...

Oh yea almost for got... the Cessna 172S rents from local FBO for $125 per hour wet (with fuel) a jet even if you owned it would cost you at least around 4 or 5 thousand dollars per hour to operate,for the cheaper models...the high line Jets cost even more per hour to operate. Jets are NOT...

we had Honda dirt bike when we were 12... it had clutch.. learned on that and was nothing to learning to use one on cars when we started driving... I was 19 when I started learning to fly too..

It's one thing to design a nice airplane.... but it's flying charistics might not be as nice as airplane looks.... seaplanes take lots maintence to fight corsion etc. plus engine not as easy to work on due to its location as for Deaf pilots Assc. they have more than 5 to 8 deaf...

It was a JET plane it was a turboprop, its a jet engine, but instead of driving a Fan like more jet engines do it drives a prop. they are more fuel efficent than turbo fan / fan jet engines. lot people won't fly those planes because they think they are not a jet... they really are jet...
