I know I'm the one in nursing but..allergies?

Just small clarification. The allergy would be do to sulfa- as in sulfonamides drugs. Alicia as some suggestions have been given here is some things that may help expound further: 1- Have history already of allergies? It sounds as if you do. People can often develop progressively worse...

    MLB 2011 Thread!

Wow, the NL East has some seriously wicked pitchers. I am so very happy the Braves are playing well again. I'm especially pleased that the highest starter's ERA is 3.22 (Derek Lowe) Please please please start hitting more though :aw:

Breaking News! CNN announces Osama Bin Laden is Dead !

Consider this; when our Civil War began, President Lincoln new little or nothing about war and strategic parts in war. He researched and endlessly read, learned, and even meeting with many Union Generals. Obama is also capable of learning how covert ops and the progress of current intelligence...

    Tell us something about yourself?

I enjoy sports. Baseball, softball, and golf are my favorites. Bowling, tennis, and soccer I don't play as often, but still enjoy. I love traveling and have been blessed to have seen many neat places. I am a registered nurse (for anyone who doesn't know what RN means in my user name. I...

What are you thinking about? Part IV

I am thinking that I am already very anxious to play golf and softball, even though I am not supposed to swing a club for 6 more weeks, or throw a ball for 13 more weeks. At least I am having no more pain in my shoulder that had the surgery. I want to keep it that way though, so I'll just stay...

What Would You Do, If You Instantly Became Famous?

Like some others, it would definately be my goal to never become famous in the first place. I'd rather go my life without any fame or notoriety. Life can be tough enough without a microscope being put on you.

    MLB 2011 Thread!

And now the 13-5 Rockies! Woah, they are off to a good start. I must say Tulowitzki could very well contend for the Triple Crown this season. He is simply awesome to watch, and also his fielding- what a cannon! All this with Ubaldo Jimenez on the 15 day DL (coming off today or tomorrow)...

    MLB 2011 Thread!

I highly doubt Marlins will win a ring in next 2-3 years. Reason is the Marlins haven't exactly demonstrated that they are willing to increase their payroll from the doldrums of MLB. If a young athlete blossoms and their contract is ending the Marlins will usually trade the player or lose them...

    2011 Stanley Cup Playoffs

Sharky, thanks for you insight and information provided on all the NHL playoff teams. Although the Pens are my NHL favorite team, I will attempt to objectively state my picks. I do like the Caps and Bruins to meet in the East finals, and would like to see San Jose and Anaheim meet up in the...

ASL Class Being Cut from High School?

Lee stated what I had meant to bring up already. Still thats not fun that they are cutting ASL in some high schools. I feel most of America is already behind the curve, whether it be in 'core' requirements, or versatiliy in Languages and Vocational arts. Sometimes I feel those in the...

    MLB 2011 Thread!

Braves started nice, but last 3 days not so well. What I have seen the first week may be a good example how things may go this season. Either way I'll be watching and rooting of course.

    What did you do today?

Yes, stupid shoulder surgery. I had completely torn Labrum and also some rotator cuff issues. Maybe if Im a good boy I'll have my cannon back in a few months. But still, watching all my friends makes it hard to be a spectator right now.

What are you thinking about? Part IV

Im thinking I am running out of patience with rehabing after my shoulder surgery. See, I had to wait 4 weeks to start the real work and that time has finally arrived. Im very excited to get rolling with it, no matter the discomfort. Anyone who has had a shoulder surgery can understand somewhat...

    Watson the Computer on Jeopardy

For those of you who know Jeopardy well, you will understand that being able to come up with right answers involves integrating hard knowledge (stuff you learn) with abstract- articulating into what really is the correct answer. IBM (I believe who it was) challenged themselves to innovate a...
