Told him to get fuck out, 6 months later I had saved up the money to start drawing up the divorce papers it was finalized in October 2004. Once I kicked him out that was the end of it, he wasnt coming back. I had put up with his shit for 9 months, that was plenty for me.

The highly reputation preacher was probably mentally and emotionally abusing her.... bad mouthed her... pulling down her self esteem....
manipulating her....

And she felt divorce him... that would make her look bad as
a church first lady.

A preacher wife can't go to friends and relatives.... cause
their marriage has to be perfect... nobody should knows that
they have problem.

My mom went to church here in Memphis... and found out
her preacher and his wife are divorcing...
Many members left that church...


So if Mary Wrinkler divorced her husband....
then her husband won't have a job, cause church members will leave
And.... she needs money to feed her children.

So you have to walk a mile in her shoes...

Her mental state... what can she do?

She just ended up having a rifle in her hands at the wrong time.

The gun did not go off on its own, he said during closing arguments Wednesday night, calling the defendant's version of events "ludicrous."

The defense portrayed Mary Winkler as a victim of physical, sexual and psychological abuse who shot her husband by accident during an argument.

Defense attorney Steve Farese said prosecutors did not prove Winkler fired intentionally. But during his closing argument he left open the possibility she might be guilty of a lesser charge.

"Have they proven any crime? Well -- and this is hard for me to say -- maybe," Farese said. "Maybe she was negligent.".

Some of the jurors wept when the Winklers' oldest daughter, Patricia, testified for the prosecution about her father's slaying. The 9-year-old said she heard a loud boom and a thump. When she ran into the bedroom, she saw her father's body lying on the floor.

Yes, you can come up with logical solutions when you are in a logical frame of mind. Unfortunately, there is a syndrome known as "Battered Woman Syndrome" and fear combined with constant abuse and degradation results in an inability to think clearly and logically, the same as with Post Traumatic Stress Syndrome. Unless you have been in an abusive situation for an extended period of time, it is difficult to imagine the mental anguish these women go through. It is very easy to sit on the other side and say, "She should have just left!"

In addition, many women who end up in abusive relationships come from an abusive family, and their self exteem is so low that they actually believe that they are responsible for being abused.....that they deserve to be beaten and humiliated.

i've heard, studied and read about it but still. what if the situation were reversed? i'm fairly certain that preacher will be prosecuted to the fullest extend. 30 years to lifetime at least.

I was just saying that you don't need to HATE all women...
because I am not like those women you met in person.

My Aunt threatened to leave her husband, he put a rifle in her face.

I don't hate men. I just think Men deserve better, because I
am ugly and I like men...

And it really hurts that you hate me because I am a female...

If you met me in person, you would like me... I would be your good
