Wife Who Killed Preacher Set Free

Murder does have no exceptions. Murder steals a person 2nd chance or remorse or something. We cant assume what he might do to his wife. Each is different in different circumstances. Whether we believe her or not won't solve anything. That's one problem, what is the point by what other thinks if they end up divorce or saying what 'if' attitude to apply. "Ifs" should not be involve. Whatever happen "other" person did, not mean he probably would do too. Abusive is a horrible thing to do, but killing even worse. I know, what "if" he kills her? There are other side, What "if" he have no thought of killing her? Does he have a another chance? Nope. Why? He's dead. What "if" she learned her mistakes? That won't bring him back. Well, the Higher Judge already determined against him or he probably didn't really act that violent. We don't know, but she has her chance, but her husband doesn't. She cut his life short and no second chance.

so is it ok for men to do that to women who played the game on them? do you know why? some women are bitches too. remember -- we play the game only because women play the game too. it's only way to win them. don't blame men. blame the game.

to people who made these silly misandrist remarks i.e. blame this problem on men, let me give you an illustration of "if" world. if a wife emotionally, verbally, physically and psychologically abused her husband and cheated on him for some times. would y'all support husband entirely if he stabs or shoots her in the face for abusing him? i'm not hiding the fact that i'm testing y'all to see if there is any hypocrisy in your misandrist remarks. what preacher did is wrong but murder is wrong too. two wrongs do not make a right. divorce him or call cops on him is a smart move to make.

I didn't say it is okay for men to do that to women who played the game on them. Both of women and men do have the same problem. No difference. It's why I said earlier in another thread about " controllin' " ...verbal/physical abuses are controllin'.

Both men and women have their own problems - and, they both need to SIT DOWN and DISCUSS their situations to straight out maturely. Not stupidity. Okay ? Both of them need to grow up and be adults. No need to be jerk or bitch.

He doesn't have to go to prison for his crime.
He is a MAN. Nicole and her male friend won't get their life back.

You might get off, if a woman beat you up... but it is hard to prove that,
unless you reported her before for beating you up.

It depends on the law and the lawyers...

Even if it is self defense, I think the murderer should serve time
in prison for about 10 years.

But yes women can and have been known to beat their husbands as well as verbally abuse them. Women are just as capable.

We once had neighbors like that. The husband ran out of the house to get away from his wife that had been pounding on him for some time, then she took a handgun and shot him in the back. He died right in the middle of the road. The woman was convicted and sent to prison and the house has since been abandoned. This is of course happened when I was still pretty young, and while we didnt live directly next door to them, we did however live in the same part of town. Mom said I was about 2 or 3 when it happened - back when we had just moved into the old house from the trailer.

But, in the end, her ex-husband is the one who had the last laugh (at her, no less) by getting a contract to star in x-rated movies. He's a jerk for doing that AND for assaulting his wife.

If child protection and the dead husband's family have a say, she won't. I hope she gets full custody and zero visitation rights to his family.

If he was still alive and shot his abusive wife to death... then what? Would he go to prison forever

i had asked many women the same unanswerable question -- why do they stay with men who treated them less than human. furthermore, they would go for same type after breaking up with or divorcing their old boyfriends and husbands. my former professor of sociology had divulged that the majority of sociologists has been baffled by these women's cyclic behavior for many years. no one is able to answer their behavioristic pattern. maybe they're conditioned by their dysfunction families. men had been jailed for many years for much less violent nature than this crime mary winkler commited. o.j. simspon got away only because he was rich and famous. many rich and famous people got away with crimes they commited.

I don't think she should get full custody, maybe temporarily custody.

Two reasons, actually. Neither are unanswerable, as a woman would never answer these questions quite this bluntly. You ready? Here they are:

1. I can't leave him because I just gotta have my sex!

2. I feel I deserve to be put down and not treated like a human.

I think this happens alot more than what it reported because men have to live with the shame of being 'weaker' than his wife... but despite whose doling out the abuse, it is still wrong, and it is still painful for everyone involved including children who have to witness it.

Alrighty PEte I'll prove ya wrong. My ex-verbally abused me, constantly put me down and degraded me. Then lied about his whereabouts and had affairs. After I busted his ass and caught him in his tracks, I kicked his ass to the curb. There is only so much I am willing tolerate. I did not want to raise my DD in that type of home, it wasnt fair to her or me. Also for the record, he did hit me once in which case I hauled off and kicked him right square in the nuts. He didnt lay a finger on me after that incident although the verbal stuff did continue after that point. I think he was afraid that he might get hit if he hit me. :lol: But I cut my losses and I am much better off without him. Its ben four years and after that bad marriage, Ive realized I am much happier being single and having my own space to make my own decisions for whatever reason I choose to.

it's true. i was in the group who had been abused emotionally, verbally and psychologically-wise by my ex-girlfriend. i wouldn't dare to share with my friends or relatives about it because it was a shame to start with. dixie is correct in her observation.
