Beef liver'n'onions with rice... flavoured with dashi powder.

Never had liver... All I can say....

I don't like it... nor do I hate it. It's just unusual flavour for me. Not sure what to make of it. It remind me of a tartare which took me awhile to get used to eating... yet it's almost like a well-done steak. Odd.

Never thought there would be a food that I would be so neutral toward. :hmm:

I never ate liver although I have smelled it and thought it was awful.

I never knew of anyone neutral to liver. I thought you either loved it or hated it.

What made you suddenly decide to eat liver?

I knew by five years old that I never would.

Economic... I eat like a college student that can't afford pizzas. :p

It's $1 per kilogram.

2.2lbs = kg.

I am only neutral because I am not sure what to make of it. I like the richness of it, but I don't like the taste of well-done steaks.

So... neutral. My mom never cooked it because my stepdad hated them, so I never got to taste them.

Good reasoning , but when I am really poor I eat whole grain bread with peanut butter and honey, which works out cheaper I believe. Add a glass of milk and you have all you need. :) (maybe orange juice to avoid scurvy)

That's where I am jealous of people who don't have nut allergies or are not gluten-sensitive. :laugh2:

At least rice is cheap as heck.

Poor Souggy. I am gluten sensitive but it got too expensive, so I decided you have to die of something sometime. And yes rice is a staple in our diet too . :P

I lived off pizza and Dr. Pepper in college. We had this pizza delivery that delivered the cheapest, lowest quality pizza but they also threw in free soda. They were the busiest pizza joint in town.

I need inspiration for dinner. Hmmm... I'm going to see how much chicken is left over from last night. Chicken salad might be on the menu tonight.

We're going to have wraps, with tuna, cheese, lettuce, tomato etc :) then fruit cocktail, healthy healthy :)

Hamburger and fries at a new restaurant here called Smash Burger. Don't know if it is a national chain but must go check.

The fries are done with rosemary, garlic, olive oil and sea salt.

OOOH.. that sounds heavenly.

Tonight was frozen pizza. I think it was Canadian pizza. It might have been meat-lovers, but I am pretty sure it was Canadian.

My rule= "If you can't identify it, don't eat it.."

I ate soup and crackers w/ peanut butter and Mt Dew :)

Just had roast chicken and roast potatoes with homemade gravy and spinah salad.

Out with my stepmother for Saturday night. I had vegetable soup, half tuna sandwich, and peanut butter cup pie.

Tonight was chicken cesar salad made by the grocery store. They are delicious. :P We also had DQ pecan mudslides for dessert! :) (I'm always worried if a peanut might accidentally get mixed in with the pecans, but I just like them so much!)

BBQ chicken , baked beans and Mt Dew :)

I had a Salibury steak, mashed potatoes, and corn. (that equals a Banquet tv dinner)

But I made a nice dessert of coconut ice cream, with butterscotch sauce, and a chopped mini Nestle's Krunch candy mixed in.
