Tonight I am planning on Spanish Rice but using my soy meat crumbles from MSF.

it's about time for dinner for me but I don't think I'll be eating tonight. I think I have food posioning from the mexican food I ate last night and was throwing up like there was no tommorow this morning as a result missing work...nice, nice, nice. Not. I feel like crap!

advice: don't reheat mexican food! :)

ick! i hate when that happens, i hope you feel better soon :(

Tonight we finally had our deaf social. It was soooo much fun. Of course, I had to remake the beef stew and chicken pie. Everyone loved it. I only had to make 15 quarts of stew and 10 servings of chicken pie.
It is all gone. :)
Sadly, there was a death in our community and so many were too grieved to come. Yet, we had a nice time together. One late deaf lady (like me) brought the best lemon cake EVER. Also a hearing lady came and she made a "not cheese" cake. I hope to get the recipe. I don't think it's vegetarian though. It seems like a super thick and very tasty pie like a custard. My friend brought a super nice and extra chunky salad and I must say that her vidalia onion dressing was just wonderful.
Wish we all (you all too) could have been together to enjoy this. So much good deaf and hearing fellowship.

Sounds fun. I wish I could have been there too. Of course, I would have brought smithtr, and just hide behind him while he dazzled you all with his speedy signing! :P

It would have been fun for sure. We have a 14 yr old who is lightning fast! It would have been a sign - off! (the kid is amazing, he reads and writes both english and spanish fluently and his asl is whoooosh!)

Chicken leg braised in homemade tomato sauce, rice, carrots and onions with milk.

Just thinking of what to make for dinner can be so complicated. I am not a fan of cooking. GRRRR

Bag dinner for lunch but it was tasty. It was a store brand chicken, vegetable and pasta thing.
Tonight - thanks to poster above - I am making chicken and dumps. (crave)

making two dinners...

Greek Lemon Chicken with Angel Hair pasta with spinach/tomato salad

and

Fiesta Steak with Corn Salsa and green beans

Eating out while walking around in the cool air. Maybe white rice and string bean chicken breast at the mall.
