What's your dinner tonight?

yeah, we thought Fringe was pretty good, too, Bott:wave: did you have a nice time at Fazoli's?
tonight hubby and I both very tired from preparing house for showing afternoon showing <trying to sell> so we went to eat. I had a side salad and chicken/veggie stir fry with lots of extra veggies, wild rice instead of white rice, and the teriyaki sauce on the side so I could control portion.

seems I'm not the only one here who likes spinach! I like to steam it or sautee with some onions, olive oil and garlic - maybe add some spices and tofu to it. I have some frozen spinach in the freezer but didn't feel like messing with it.

I like Lima beans, the big ones...with ham, pepper & onions, over rice. We ate a lot of them when I was a kid and lived in the Country. It's been years since I've ate any tho'. Gives me a lot of "hot air" tho'.

We always go for the baby limas. The larger one, butter beans are wonderful as well. My daughter just will not eat any kind of dried bean. Gonna fix up some black eyed peas tomorrow.

We had a great time. I always do if I can save a lot of money. I paid dinner and then we also stopped at McDonald's and my daughter did dessert and we had caramel sundaes.

The only thing marring it was after eating, we did some walking before coming home. An SUV was in a parking lot and a person was in it. I didn't know it and he let his dog lunge out the window as we passed. I could feel the lunge and it barked right next to my ear.

I almost fell. My daughter said she didn't think it was really a scary dog, but actually I am still shaking.

Tonight is planned for cube steaks, white rice and beets. I think I will also make some jello. Just have to make sure there is room in the fridge for it.

Oh Botts! :(

Thanks BecLak, it was just one of those weird things that can happen. :)

Tonight I am going to bake a frozen chicken pot pie and have orange juice with it while checking out Celebrity Apprentice to see if Marlee Matlin stays.

I'm having pot roast beef with horseradish sauce carrots, potatoes and onions for dinner tonight.

We're having gammon, maybe rice and new potatoes!

I think I'm going italian tonight. Making simple food like antipasto salad (loaded!), garlic & cheese bread, italian sauce wings ... None of these take too much time to make so it should be fun and yummy :)

Yummy! Hoppin' John?

I love an antipasto platter! I think I just decided on my dinner tonight!:P

Dinner plans have changed. We will be having pizza and I will suffer the issues with eating cheese. Luckily I do not go into anaphylactic shock. Just major pain and dietary problems for a day or three.

I think it is smoked ham over there

Ah. I did a google on that and the dictionary said it was British for bacon.

However, I googled it again and I came up with smoked ham that was smoked in Britian. I don't think bacon is very filling as much as I love it. :giggle:

Can you find something else while the others eat the cheese? Sorry, that must suck :(

We're having pizza too. Pizza while watching "The Amazing Race" is our Sunday night tradition.

Well - I ate the pizza and we will see what happens. I really was starving for it and really have a weakness for cheese. At least I stuck with just 1 piece only.
