What's your dinner tonight?

oh, :ty: Botti and Mrs. Bucket! I hadn't thought of taking the seed out and didn't know you could freeze it. I will try that IF I don't eat it right away:D
I LOVE avocados but sometimes I want to have the option to have some the next day too:lol:

Sometimes I make it, but when I buy it's Classico. I have tried a bunch of them, that one seems to be the best for me. :)

Classico is my favorite brand and it doesn't have much sugar if any in it.

Botts gave a great idea- take the seed out and cover them in plastic wrap.

I eat them right away! :laugh2:

I use avocado for a natural body rub.

You can store them in the freezer. Just take the seed out, sprinkle some citrus juice to prevent browning and individually wrap each avocado in plastic wrap (very tightly) and they do store well.

I avoid avocado like the plague. Even a single bite will make me feel nauseated all day.

Years ago, I loved avocados till I ate a whole one and I couldn't stop throwing up for 3 days as a result. I have not been able to eat them without feeling sick since. I have to be careful with Mexican foods as a result. I swear even Mexican comida el perro has avcados. :P

I'm having pinto beans with sausages with brown rice and salad.

I finally ended up with a hamburger, raspberry applesauce and a chocolate cupcake.

Marginally better than last night.

I did a hamburger thing with rice, cream of mushroom soup, onions, fresh sliced mushrooms and corn with seasonings. All one dish and the family cleaned it all up. It's amazing how I can use 1/2 pound of ground beef and feed a family of 5 and MIL uses the same amount of ground beef in a burger for herself for her diet to lose weight. Guess who loses more weight and keeps it off. Not her. :giggle:

Pork chops, potatoes au gratin, creamed corn, salad.

Subway meatball sandwich yummy!

Probably a cold dinner tonight - hamburger with ham, cheese, onion, and lettuces.

I'm invited tonight at the boys' place for Shabbat... dunno what we'll be eating but I'll busy preparing Tarte Tatin this afternoon :D

cleaning out the freezer (not really, at the end of the meat supply) so we are having corned beef, cabbage, red potatoes and steamed baby carrots.

I'm having pork tenderlion with cherry sauce. I'm making it out of cherry preserves, my sugar cubes, Balsamic vingear and rum. I'll be serving it on a bed of brown rice and salad.

Recipe called for brown sugar and wine but I thought rum would go well with it.

hubby picked up some Chipoltle for dinner on his way home from work:D
I had a veggie burrito bowl with black beans and fajita veggies, salsa and guac - no cheese, no meat, no rice. I added some more black beans from home.
Hubby had some meat, bean and cheese thing w/chips and guacamole...we still have some guac left over!

No you're right dogmom. The greeting is Shabbat Shalom

We had Filet mignon (hmmm), mixed steamed vegetables and potatoes au gratin :giggle: And of course my freshly baked tarte tatin as dessert :D

Today I dunno yet... depends whether I'll be going out or not... :cool2:
