Just gave myself a haircut! Would be nice to not worry about my hair being messed up or not anymore.
at your new teaching job is the floor concerete? if so then there is your answer... try and see if u can wear gel as it does help somewhat to absorb the shock of walking on concerete floor. hope this will be temporary, too.
if the floor is concerete then it could be cuz of that. when i was working before at my old job and my feet would be hurting bad.. i noticed that if i waLK on concerete my feet would be hurting.. i never liked to walk on concerete floor.
Yes, u are right..it is concrete. No wonder cuz at my regular teaching job at the Deaf school, the floors are all carpeted. At this public school, all concrete.
I have been using loads of ICY/HOT cream to relieve the pain in my feet. I will buy the gel soles and see what happens.
Yes, this is just a summer teaching job I work at every summer for 5 weeks.
MANY THANKS!!!!
I am getting excited that I having good time with my family.
Welcome. That explains why like i said cuz floor is concerete. get gel shoes you will feel lot better.. its always better to buy new shoes with more supports so it wont be achy all times you know? then when u get home.. pamper your feet in water with epsom salt and rest... it helped me. so try that.. ok.. i was told to buy shoes every 3 months so your feet wont be achy?? not sure why?? i thought it is riduclous cuz shoes still kinda look new? think it had to do with support.. oh well..
5 weeks.. it wont be long before you will not have to work there anymore.. ugh.. be patient.. it will but be a memory.
Every 3 months???? ugh!!! I hate shopping for shoes...I am not a shoe person. LOL!
I like working at my summer teaching job. I wish it was that laid back and relaxed year round. I work from 740 to 1240..so nice to get off by 1 PM daily instead of 8 to 4. LOL!
Me either but my sister is.
your sister is what?
Oh. That was worse. Pity. I am sorry. You want to hear about my Fourth of July morning? I went to a friend's house to water her plants and feed her dog (she went on vacation). I'm horrible with directions, and it makes it worse that the city I live in has cookie-cutter homes. They are all exactly the same. So I get to the house and realize that the key doesn't work. She did tell me there was a slight chance that the key would not work. I saw that there was a window open so I climbed in. WRONG house. Worse - WRONG DOG!!!!! I mean-ass looking dog - with some serious teeth showing. It barely got my shoe as I climbed out of the window and hastily ran to my car. A man came out of the house in a shaggy bathrobe, cussing and yelling. He said something about calling the police. I was so embarrassed and scared to death! I finally found the house, got in, and started watering the plants (inside and outside). The plants ouside were by a pool. I was watering the plants when I suddenly slipped and fell into the pool! I had to wring my clothes and dry them in this person's house. Meanwhile I was naked and the dog kept looking at me funny! I finally dried my clothes and went to Wal-Mart to buy some food. While I was at the check-out counter, a woman in front of me dropped a glass bottle of red wine - all over my clothes! I knew it was time to go home - and STAY home. What a bad morning it was!
