I wouldn't know as I've not the opportunity to swim in a American beach.

My brother enjoyed your beach very much :cool2: He studied at Bond University for a year.

As I moved to Australia from New Zealand. It was a shock to see how dry it is and having a very less rain. My old country always green, green grass and a lot of rain where I used to live.

Even though it is worth a experiences to be in a drought country makes ya appreciated of having a rain in other countries.

Or I can tell my landlord to deal with it first

That's nice your brother enjoyed our Aussie beaches.

Admittedly, I'm biased but I reckon our beaches are the best in the world. You might want to sample it when you come over, if you do.

Try Bondi Beach -- they got plenty of hotties for you, Jiro ;)
If you do, you would be able to scare one of my hackers, who hates my guts -- and pretends to own the beach.

Put it on you list, Delectable... when the next trip back to the states, go and visit one of the nude beach, it would be a sure pleasure for ya! ;)

Gee, that is a prospect that doesn't make me keen. I'll leave it for you, you lecherous male! :P

Or Bells Beach where Point Break were filmed.

We've had this drought for more than a decade, if I remember right. In all households, we're reqiured to do out bit to conserve water, as much as we can, such as putting in a bucket when showering then use it on parched gardens.

We're used to it, don't pity us city dwellers, place it on farmers who have it harder than us metropolitan people.

ah yes.. agricultural sector is #1 consumption of water. I read this article in Popular Science magazine. A futuristic agricultural concept - "Farming in the Sky"

For me... I think the best beach in the world (based on where I've been to) is Cancun.

How would you know that for certain when you have yet to try our Aussie beaches. *frowning at you*

that's why I said based on where I've been to. I'm sure my mind will change after visiting your infamous Gold Coast (if that's the right name).

the 'infamous' Gold coast is in the sunny state of Queensland, and Delectable is from the cold melbourne

Cold Melbourne? Pffthhh at you! Canberra's colder than Melbie.

Melbourne is famed for having 4 season in a day.

We have terrific beaches in several states........

That's what I call, delectable! We'lll see about that!

I see... some Aussie's inside jokes... I uh.... have no idea what's going on here... :dunno:

Canberra is 9 hours drive from where delectable is and that is where I am  I am sorry for you, Jiro. Is there any USA jokes that we must miss?
