Happy Thursday everyone!

no dixie i didnt see the news but i saw the news about the little boy got killed in Russellville.. so sad to hear..:( Today seems more cooler than the last few days.. thats great news! TJ is playing outside in water.. :)

FC - that boy that was killed lived in Plainview which is only about a 15 minute drive from here. The whole county has been talking about it non-stop, even at work. I just got tired of rehashing over the details, so I put my headphones back on and listened to music and smoked a cigarette during break.

You also probably heard about the boy that drowned in Havana two weeks ago in his grandmothers pool. That was one of my co-workers nephew I believe.

This is such a small rural area that everyone knows everyone including their private buisness. As for Shawn Goodwin - he's a real piece of work and Im not too fond of his mother either.

Heheheh the "saving it for later" how long can you hold onto it?? lmao... just had to throw this in!!! lol.. I LOVEEEEE REESE Cups sigh!!! Have you ever tried the ice cream kind??

:P heh yes I love Reese Cups heh as for the ice cream, no I haven't try it... will try the Reese ice cream when I'm visiting USA or Canada for vacation. :)

yeah but still so sad to hear and the mother should have not gone in the pawn shop without the kids in tow.. the kid would have still be alive?

no i havent heard about the boy that drowned in havana. how sad. same here its small rural area and everyone know every one and the business.. ugh.. i hate it.. lol.. i just ignore them.. :)

I can't wait to visit my Lucky dog and spend some time with him. He's 100 lbs. Lab who needs a lot of attention from me.

My NE Patriots have another preseason game tonight Go Brady!

babysitting -- kids are napping now. then off to see my brother for his belated birthday... dunno what i'm doing tmw but sunday, will hang out with my friends. :)

Nice day today but I'm relaxing here before I go to work. :)

FC - I donated money today to the family of the little boy that was killed in Russellville. His nam was William Franklin Burfield, Jr. He was 4 years old. RIP little one, it was short, but you loved every minute of it.

As for the mother not taking the children into the pawn shop with her - the story I got from the Courier was that the father got out and then he followed and walked right into the alley there between the pawn shop and the old shoe shop and a truck cme through and there was no way the truck could stop in time to avoid hitting the boy. (Not that he didnt try, I think any one would have tried stopping the rig regardless) They are calling it an accident. But also heard the story that you heard too where the mom was supposed to be looking after them when she went into the pawn shop and left the kids there. However which way it really happened, it is still a sad deal, and it could have been avoided if everyone had been paying attention to the children a little more closely.

i agree like i said if they had watched the kids closely.. and it was hot?? why left the kids in the car? thats neglect, pure and simple! I dont leave TJ in the car.. I made him come in with me as I dont want him to die from the heat? who would do such a thing like that? idiot thats what! gosh! anyway thats a nice thought of you to do for the family. I am sure they appreciate it.

Pretty soon we will be leaving to check our friend's dog and cat then zoom to birthday party. So we'll have fun! Even the weather is sooo cool...about 68 to 70 today but it will be hot later this week...what a dumb weather!

That is what I am thinking FC - but I am hearing so many different stories from every direction that I am not sure what is fact and what is fiction. I too do not leave Maddie in the truck not even for a split second in a parking lot, even here at the house I am sometimes a tad reluctant in leaving maddie in the truck if I have to run back inside the house for moment to retrieve something if she is already strapped into the seat. Even if I do have to run back in the house for a moment I leave the all the windows down and keep the keys with me and make the trip as short and quick as possible - but I only do this ONLY if I know EXACTLY where the item is that I am retrieving, if I think I may have to look for it, I take Maddie back inside with me. I am not even going to mess around in this heat.

The Funeral is Tuesday I think at Plainview Jesus Name Pentecostal church. Burial is by Cornwell Funeral Home of Danville.

Speaking of birthday parties I am thinking of having one for my DD but its so stinking hot!!! I dont want to make a whole bunch of preparations only to have to cancel the party due to dangerously hot temperatures.

i just rest from surgery yesterday but i noitced that my left leg is pain and dont feel right so i am wait til monday and call dr abt this

I don't blame ya! You can host the party at McDonald's since they have A/C or at Chuck E Cheese..something that is inside to stay cool and let kids have a wild time :)

My kid's bday is in winter...so a bit hard because too cold and no one would willing to come if there is dump of snow. Oh well!

I am worn out already!

I am sleepy now hehe nighters!

Me and mom talked abou the birthday party yeterday afternoon, and it was really a simple solution but it never dawned on me until she said it.

Since we do have a kiddie pool with a giant squirt ball, noodle sprinkler, we can go ahead an plan for the party to be outside, but also set up preparations in the fireplace room and the formal dining room for cake and icecream as well as presents. Its about a month before her birthday so I want to get started on preps.

As for Chuck E Cheeses, Maddie and her bunch are a tad young for that, I may wait until she is closer to 8 or 9 before we have birthday party there.

I think we will go with a Princess theme although personally I was hoping she would still be in her spongebob phase, lol. Oh well it is all good.

FC - does hoby loby have Disney Princess themed party stuff? I hear you get party stuff for nearly dirt cheap in there. I may go have a look sometime this week just to go and see.

Also how did you like that 20 degree cool off last night?? That was NICE!! Me and Maddie played outside for about hour after that, until the mosquitos came out.
