Hell yeah it was bloody hot here in Arkieville today. For the past week we have had the highest temperature readings in the state. Its annoying for me because where I work it is cool (a nice 55-60 degrees in a refrigerated room) so I normally wear long pants, muck boots (not cheap assed rubber shoes from wal-fart, but the nice ones from TSC.) a long-sleeve shirt under or over t-shirt. By first break when I go out side to smoke Im tempted to peel off a layer. By lunch I avoid going outside if possible and I only go out side during last break for a quick smoke then back in the production area. By the time I get off at 2:30 in the afternoon, Im walking across the parking lot and thinking very seriously of stripping down naked. :lol: Then I get to drive home in an oven on wheels snce I have no A/C in my truck. Meh.


But now Im at home under the AC sitting in the easy chair drinking a cold coke and typing away on my laptop to Alldeaf. Ahhhh now all is one with the universe........:cool:

yeah sat, sun and monday we have records of high temps.. also today as well.. the last time it was this hot 103 was in 1954.. imagine that.. ha.. so the new record is 104 today.. tmw should be 103.. then on thurs the high pressure will weaken and should come down to 90's, I hope so! i cant stand the hot weather.. my left leg is swollen badly... all i can do is keep my leg raised higher and ice on it... sigh..

at least u are lucky to work in fridge room.. lol.. better than working outside construction or on road.. not me... ugh...
 
Still at work and bored as usual.. today I got my full licence, aftr 3 years on Provisional licecne. :D
 
We went to Open house at TJ's school yesterday and get to meet the teacher. I found out that TJ will have 2 teachers this year. Surprised me.. TJ is real glad to have the teacher that he wanted.. ha.. :)
 
Oh whew! I've been cleaning our son's room..what a mess in there lol! What a kid! i hope he stay keep clean like this way. I will clean out his toy box when he starts school...that give me something to do. :) He is coming home very soon! I miss him soooo much!!!
 
I ate four toasts and drink pepsi with little Jim Beam Black in. I have been second wind and am going to bed soon.
 
i went eyes DR and picked my new glass up.. hehehe.. and spent with my hubby half day before he go work.. he got cold for 2 days poor him but i hope tmw he will better
 
FC- I saw the weather report 91 by Sunday. Woohoo! I like summer but geez not in that manner where you could literally fry an egg on the dash, lol.

I would much prefer to work outside in 100 degree heat than the stuff I am doing in the chicken plant. Besides with it being so hot, I probably would have had half the day off anyway. Work until it gets too dangerous to be outside then come home to crash.

But guess what - our AC went out on us today. Its out of freon and needs to be recharged. Mom called the repair man to come have a look. Right now it is not unbearable but it is a tad stuffy, Im so glad we have a well insulated house that has plenty of shade around it. Weve kept the doors closed and ran the fans to keep it cool. We also turned on the upstairs unit which is still working, and turned it down to around 70 degrees. The repairman may come tomorrow to have a look.

Yes i saw the tv news and I pray it will come true!!!! I HOPE SO!!! if not I will never trust tv ever again! hahaha.. anyway.. it would be good news :)

aww man.. cnat believe the a/c went out on yall... HOpe the guy will come sooner to fix so it will not be that hot inside... if nothing else.. go outside and get hosed that way u can stay cool! ha.. :)

the kids have been playing in the trashcan... so called Redneck Pool.. :giggle: too bad i didnt have camera to snap the pics of them! LOL... it was so FUNNY to see them.. hahahhaha..
 
A good friend of mine (SpaceyUFO) who returned back to the country from overseas for vacation.

This friend gave me two king sized Reese's Cups. Thanks mate. So far I only got one king size Reese's cups left. *saving it for later*

Heheheh the "saving it for later" how long can you hold onto it?? lmao... just had to throw this in!!! lol.. I LOVEEEEE REESE Cups sigh!!! Have you ever tried the ice cream kind??
 
Man, Dixie, seems that many people's AC units went out of order in recent weeks. Mine went out on Saturday and my grandmother's went out yesterday. The repairman came over later that day, but all he did was filling refridgerent (gas) in the AC unit. It was still sooooo hot that I had to go outdoors to sit in the shades. The repairman didn't come back until Monday morning, he found a hole on the cooper tubing in the attic so he torchblowed to patch it up. It was sooo good to have AC back on. Hope you get your AC back up on.
 
We are happy to have our kid back! The dogs sure missed him SOOO MUCH!!! GRIN! He is happy to be home too!

I got the day off from work today (too many people on staff) so I have been working ASL for Sunday's music services at the church. I realized I must have been using the old sign for heaven because I looked on ASL Pro.com and it is nothing like the Heaven I have been using. I dont know if I should change or not to further confuse the congregation. The heaven sign I have been using makes a halo of sorts around my head - could that be the sign for Heaven Above in general and not just Heaven itself because the sign does seem directional.

In other news D-ville made the news (didja see us FC, huh - huh? :lol:) We had the highest temperature in the state at the time of the reading - we now hold the highest temperature on record in the state- that is until it gets beat by another town in the state. Im surprised the towns out east are not getting hotter especally Stuttgart. I swear f we get any hotter we might as well be living next door to the devil.

Thanks hon, I am inside under the halfway working AC at the moment in the easy chair typing quitely on my laptop. The repairman is to come sometime this afternoon. I just have to change out the pan ever-so-often to make sure that it does not overflow onto the concrete and frame. I think it has been leaking for quite a while as I dug out the contents from the other compartment under the coat closet and while it was wet it also had mold and mildew where it was dry. Thankfuly my High School Graduation stuff didnt get too messed up. Ive since moved that stuff upstairs to the closet of the spare bedroom.
