Oh, my gosh..
Reba have already had stated the
facts numerous of times. She is correct. LOL.....
I don't believe I have wasted several hours reading the entire link. I have recognized the link before and it was also listed on Wikipedia footnote. LOL even though I am anti-Wikipedia. That site
fails to address whether there
has been a draft. The site provides only on the history and the possibility of
IF the U.S. congress and U.S. president both authorize a draft. I find it amusing some of you jumped to conclusions quickly first without reading the entire link carefully. That's the act of propagandism. Do you know what that means? The aim of propagandism is to influence people's opinions or behaviors actively, rather than merely to read and communciate the facts about crap.
FACT: Currently, there is
NO draft.
By the federal law, it takes
both U.S. Congress and U.S. President to authorize the draft fully. It means the U.S. Congress have the
power to authorize the draft
first, then they have to send the authorized paper to the U.S. president for his approval. I don't mean it literally. If the president is Trump. *imitates Trump* "You're vetoed!" There ya go. No draft.
Occasionally, I do get letters from USMC, Navy, Army, and AF. By the federal law, all male US citizens are required to register with Selective Service when they turn 18. But there is
CURRENTLY NO DRAFT. The Selective Service won't let me join because I am not enough to be 5 foot 10 Xena. Believe it or not, Women are excluded for many reasons. Maybe I will start chanting and waving my flaming bra. Just kidding!! If I am hearing, I would enlist Air Force. :P
PuyoPiyo,
Do not worry. If you're hearing, they will never draft you in the first place because there has been no authorized draft nor will be in the near future. You already have registered with Selective Service
means you also received the
rights to get any kind of federal loans like student loans, eligible for any federal programs, including welfare or assistance. That's what the federal law is for. If you want to join
WILLINGLY in the armed forces, all you have to do is
ENLIST willingly. That is a
VOLUNTARY act.
Many people have a bad habit of not reading, researching and pondering
first before they make decisions
WILLINGLY whether or not they will want to
enlist.
