What did you learn today?

I don't have a dishwasher. I've dried it as much as I can. When I press certain keys, I keep getting stuff I don't want; for example when I type 2, I keep getting a new Firefox help FAQ window with my old keyboard.

Second, won't water ruin the electronic stuff? I'll let my old keyboard dry overnight and see how it works in the morning.
Nope, it won't ruin anything unless it's wireless. If you don't have a dishwasher, just soak it in the sink using hot water and dish soap. I have done this to the keyboard I am using right now.

Links.

I'll give it a try and let it dry out over the weekend. It needs cleaning anyway cuz I'm always eating at it.

Kristina-oh, oooh, yes, that would make it not so fun...
the stew runneth.....
:hmm: could you nuke it?

I managed to get it all cleaned up and done beautifully. The family cleaned it up. I never use a microwave, but next time I'm checking into using my slow cooker. No mess there and it's a big 6 quart sucker.

I learned that my brother may work 2 40-hour jobs...geez!

Wow... is that humanely possible?

I did that..40 hours on a weekend and 40 hours during the week. He will work 40 hours during the day and 40 hours overnight. I think that is much worse. I dont like the idea.

I just tried on VP and then paged his girlfriend about it...he said he will give it a try. Geez..

He'll need a sticker that says "I brake for hallucinations."

Let him go try. He'll see what happens.

Long time ago I worked like that for three weeks. One day at an intersection I saw Mickey Mouse strolling along the pedestrian lane.
I knew my limitations since then.

It's not easy, but it can be done. Just make sure the girlfriend knows that there will be no life together as long as he is doing it.

My hubby had a job working 60 hours for his one job and another 25 hours for a 2nd job, and he did it for 8 years. It was Hell on Wheels during that time, but we got a lot of bills paid down during that time. He being 52 now, he can't do that anymore. Right now he will be going back to 60 hours starting next week at this new job.

My brother in law is still working 12 hours at the paper mill. He's in his fifties. I don't know if he works five or six days a week. He must work six days a week if my dad is impressed.

I learned I need to drink more water. I don't think I have had any the whole day and I feel awful!

I learned...

I seldom drink water, yet don't have symptoms of mild dehydration.

Must be from all the rice and vegetables I eat. O.o

Ouch! Julie terp that looks painful. Get well soon.

You might want to check it out with doctor, Juli terp to be. My girl's aunt had a spider bite on her forehead and that spider left the eggs inside of her forehead which it was required to perform a short surgery by a doctor.

definitely see a doctor - especially if the spider was brown and the size of a quarter.
