What did you learn today?

Went to my father's house before going out for mom's birthday, I learned that my father told me he got $7800 check from Baltimore Gas and Electric. Since he use solar panels to feed the electricity back into the grid. He's happy!

I wonder if the utility paid your Dad the same rate customers pay? Or did he get the utility's own wholesale rate?

Yes, it's one year I believe. I don't know if there's options if he rather to receive check each month or every 6 months or something like that. I called him and left a message yesterday. Waiting for him to call back.
