What did you learn today?

I learned that I lose my car for tomorrow. Hubby's Expedition is having mechanical issues, so he has to use my car tomorrow for work, then Friday he is off and will take Expedition to the shop. ABS light stays on. Brake pedal goes up and down on it's own (That I did not understand) and a knocking sound when shutting off motor.

It sounds like the brakes may be failing. Good thing he's using your car for now.
 
Learned today that when someone ask for advise about something they wrote....:giggle:....that perhaps it would be better to lie about it and say it was "just perfect!"....:laugh2:

In my experience, if they didn't want to hear honest and constructive feedback they were just looking for someone to tell them good job.

Yeah. I would have never made that connection. My doctor asked me if I had that symptom and it really surprised me. Later, I also read about it in the Parkinson's book that she gave me.
 
I like to be told the truth



When I see a doctor I liked to be told the truth then I read up on it.

Thats what Im doing today.

I learned that Cricket Wireless has merged with another phone company. They say my service and phone may change in 2016. Just great. Not pleased about this.

That may be true, but I'm not thrilled. I am perfectly happy with right where I am now. My current plan is comfortable, and affordable. AT&T? Not so much.
 
I learned that my grandma has a bigger sense of humor than i thought. ( she has a pretty good humor) she convinced all my little nieces and nephews that my cousin gave birth to puppies.

I love people who spread laughter. I use to be really good at it especially at work. When my girls were little, I use to tell them the "No smoking" signs said "please be quiet" it was really funny when they started reading and gave me that look:shock:

I relearned again that the legislature up here is comprised of mostly people who should not even run a till at McDonalds.

How is it that I have to be licensed and accountable and can be prosecuted for doing my job wrong when these people are allowed to mismanage billions of dollars with virtually no accountability at all?

She posted flyers, scoured the area searching (woods and culverts) and checked on 3 streets and with all neighbors. Cat is older, and special needs. Never goes outside.
