Just read the news that all Food Lion grocery stores in Florida will close.....I used to shop there when I lived near one, but don't anymore...seems close to 5,000 people will be out of a job....:shock:

I learned the animal control couldn't get an answer to the door at the apartment with the pit bull. Also that the apartment complex gave a 7 day notice to the people. I don't know if that means evicted, or 7 days to rehome the dog. Pit bulls or any large dog are not allowed there.

My daughter sent me a picture and even though it looks like broken skin puncture, she says she can't get rabies because it was through layers of clothing...

Now of course she worries about retaliation from the people. But next time it could get a child or a small dog.
 
Update. The animal control took the dog to be checked and then the people must keep it inside or on a leash for ten days??

I can't believe they won't quarantine it at the shelter.

If they have documentation that it had it's rabies shots, do they need to quarantine it? :hmm:

That's what I perceive as a problem. She texted me they were not required to prove the vaccinations.

She is planning to bring a pizza over here, so I will find out more when I see here in person.

The rescue league got the job here when the city eliminated it, and I think that can be kind of bad as they are too soft hearted when something goes really wrong.
 
my source gas bill is $40 for January. Crap. But then it's $2 more than last month's bill. Curse you winter! haha.

that explains why bamboo was used as a torture device during the war in Vietnam. Kind of scary to think about. (I think it was Vietnam... looking for a reference somewhere)
