What did you learn today? Part II

It's not like my cat is afraid of me. He just looks at me like "are you talking to me?" lol
 
I lost all my glass/fragile ornaments years ago. The "joys" of having kittens :lol: What I have left now are sturdy ones. I love having a collection of unique, one-of-a-kind ornaments. Those are the ones that survived :D
 
Sammy is having a great time lying on his back staring up from the floor under the tree. He is very glassy eyed. I think I better pull him out and make him look at something else.
 
A funny joke:

The nurse came in and said, "Doc, there's a man in the waiting room who thinks he's invisible. What should I tell him?" The doctor pondered this for a moment and then said, "Tell him I can't see him today."

We just shook the bag or cat treats and he snapped out of it. Gave him a few and now he's happily snoozing on the kitchen floor facing the kitchen door. I keep feeling like he thinks his girlfriend's coming over.
 
I learned today that I will be traveling to Fort Worth TX this Thursday and returning Sunday afternoon. If any ADers in the Fort Worth area want to meet, please PM me! :wave:

I learned that the sweetner Xylitol found in Trident gum kills the bacteria that causes sore throats and it also causes an 80% reduction in ear aches. I learned this from the doctor that saw my DD today at the clinic. I went to DG and bought a pack to see if it really works.
