What did you learn today? Part II

Thank you for the link!! At this moment, I have sprayed Xtra strength Febreze into that shoe and is now outside baking in the sun! If that does not help, I will try suggestions from that link. :) I spent 7hrs on the return trip home w/ a cat pee soaked shoe and sock! Fun, fun, funnnn....
TCS, who works in the cleaning industry, uses Out urine remover, which can be found in the Walmart pet department. The reason it works is because it has an enzyme that breaks down the urine.

Home remedies might seem to work temporarily or cover up the odor but only the digestive enzyme really removes the urine odor.

It's important to actually soak the material in the Out product, using the sprayer, to get down deep thru the layers. Leave it alone for 2-3 days. Don't rinse.

I hope you didn't already use the vinegar or other chemicals. That will mess up the pH value of the Out. Peroxide might cause discoloration.

Turn them in to Goodwill. Write it off on your taxes. Everybody wins. :D

This conversation reminded me of the time when my dog had bad diaherra on my flat shoes. Of course I threw it out!

Michael Weatherly is going to leave NCIS after all ! :( It's not going to be the same without him on the show ...

That happened with a pair of shoes of mine when one of my pups (long since deceased) took a poop in my shoes. In the garbage those shoes went

Yeah and I should know this already. But I don't make that many afghans that need borders.

I learned this quote from a 76 year old stoner Tommy Chong. "change the world is to change yourself, and I’ve been able to change myself in front of a lot of people,” Tommy said.

Interesting. One would think they would just amend the current law (for blind to add other disabilities or just say disabled with a list of specified disabilities approved.

I learned that my cat has a hyper thyroid. It's treatable. Have to go pick up meds for her. She's the cute little 6 pounder that I have. Abby.
