I went out to lunch with my husband for Valentine's day. I had a spinach salad with shrimp and french dip sliders. That was really fun.

It was at Applebee's and I got a Margarita too. I got it because it said it comes with a "Side Shaker Tin" I didn't know what it was and was thinking something like a souvenir salt box.... It meant a little pitcher with more Margarita in it. It was like my one drink of the year and quite a disappointment.

Just got home from spending the afternoon/evening at the casino. Haven't been there in about a year, not since the card room opened up just minutes from my house. Playing the slots was fun (although I came home a bit poorer than I left :lol: ) SO gave me a lovely silver necklace with 2 hearts entwined. He knows I love silver much more than gold. It was a great day!

hate it when casinos are far aways. its funny because in certain places here in colorado its faster to fly to vegas than hitting up the local (a lot of times cheaper too)
 
There are, I think at last count, 18 casinos in MN. 2 are in the "metro" area meaning anywhere from 0 hours to 1.5 hours' drive depending on where you're located since the metro area is so sprawled out. Since I'm in the northern end, Hinckley was the closest at 1 hour out (and that's not 1 of the two I mentioned in the metro area. Mystic is one.) The rest are sprawled all over the state. Got a lot of Indian reservations here.

Yeah I remember that. Airport to St Cloud was like 1/2 minneapolis.. gosh
 
I will plan do go to dentist final soon on march 2 soon benefit to almsot 1 yrs!
 
Went to City Thrift & The Rescue Mission today....all live plants $2....they were in poor shape, but got a few Corn Plants to work on....found great bargains at City Thrift, picked up a lot of brand new T-shirts (white) for the boys at .99 cents!....Also found 2 T-shirts with "AC/DC" & "The Stones" on them, and a lot of skateboarding T-shirts, several with the original price tags still intact, for $1.99, and 15% off (senior citizens day!)....Feels Great!...Read where the price of clothing is going UP this year!....With 3 growing boys, this reallllly helps!....It's almost time to clean out their Closets (Spring cleaning), and we donate all clothing that we do not wear right back to the Rescue Mission or Goodwill.
 
Finally finished my earring holders for both of my sisters... One birthday coming up, another high school graduate. Gifts complete.
