What did you do today?

Got the boys off for school, washed 3 loads of clothes, cleaned out the Cocktiel cage, fed and watered them. Vacuumed, started boiling a pork roast (for BBQ), ate lunch, boys had early-release today from school....went to the grocery store, shopped for the Super Bowl game Sunday, came home, fixed dinner, took the boys to Church until 9pm, picked them up...logged onto TD, checked in here at AD...watched TV, talked to my neighbor for a little while....boys went to bed at 10:45...I'm ready to hit the sack also. Supposed to rain tomorrow and get a little cooler, but otherwise, the weather has been very warm.

Woke up at 5:30am put cats out tidied kitchen, fed cats, made coffee, checked emails, work call on skype, made breakfast, woke kids, took calls for my husband who is sick in bed with the flu. Had to call hubby out of bed for some unexpected business callers. While hubby was in meeting i took 3 calls (not relay btw, took a lot of deciphering to make sense of conversation. Hate doing it. Wish they could sms) Supervised the kids with their schoolwork for 3 hours. Answered emails and contacted my son in Australia. Husband is now fast asleep (good!) Having a late lunch and on AD!
 
Went to work. Felt burnt out from the stupid "productivity" and other bs work issues. It's not that bad (for me professionally as I am to the managers), it's just the experience of going through some of those things were very similar to things that happened a few years ago and I don't want to go through it again. Taking tomorrow off to sleep/rest and work on programming homework. Went to ASL II class. Sort of learned some new vocab but wasn't really paying that much attention, definitely tired/burnt...vacation needed or something.
 
So far, I got hubby off to work at 5:30, did cat duty (litter box, food and water), made breakfast for 3. Worked with kids on schoolwork. Son, 9th-12th grade - Pre-algebra, science, language arts, reading, foreign language (ASL). Daughter, 3rd -7th grade (learning disabilities) - reading, spelling, language, world history, science, math. Went to Game Stop to purchase a re-furbished XBox 360 and stuff for it, then went to Pollo Tropical (Caribbean cooking) for lunch then WalMart for a few things. Now, home to rest. No more plans for day except to totally veg.

I'm taking ASL I after work and wish I could just close my eyes and listen to the teacher. :giggle:
 
Up to this point nothing three days of nothingness I am so damn bored and I feel like I am wasting away. I am glad the earth is purging some of the polutes with this cold weather and ice in this way rather than another, but I am wasting, I am wasting , I am wasting.
On the other hand I think I am getting sick. Damn it

Yeah I tried closing my eyes in class doesn't work so well as in my other classes where I can passively listen

yeah...spending 8 hours looking at two monitors at relatively low-resolution (compared to home computer) isn't really a great precursor to learning ASL :). Might have to beg my employer to upgrade or bring in my own equipment.
 
Good news - no GREAT NEWS!!! about my good friend Faith!! She is home from the hospital.

This is from her FB post.

Got great news today from my hemo. he was so happy about the amt. of lbs. I've lost which is about at 50 or so he said he spoke to the Docs. @ Shands and with continued wht. loss and getting my blood #'s in order then when the appropriate time comes I can be put on the liver transplant list before they had no hope on me being a candidate at all but Praise God he's blessed me again.keep me in your prayers.
 
School...interp job...lunch...interp job...now going to slave deli job. My life is quite uniteresting.

I went to work. After, did my Superbowl shopping got the chips, salsa, cream cheese, drinks, and other items I need for me. Cream cheese mixed in salsa is delish!
 
Got up and fed the cat, then went back to sleep and then got up and had breakky. Went online and penned an comment on this blog JClarke mentioned. Talked with mum about family. Now I better have a shower and get ready to hit the library before catching the bus to work.
 
Worked and worked. Then I worked some more. I have to admit these 6-day workweeks are burning me out. I just don't have energy like I used to. Even Red Bull isn't giving me a kick anymore. Now it's used to just merely function. Tomorrow is gonna be long.
 
Tomorrow will be a crazy day for me. Not looking forward to most of it.
 
1) Woke up at 7 AM
2) Showered
3) Grabbed coffee at MIT Dunkin Donuts at 9 AM
4) Hopped on the shuttle from campus to my workplace
5) Arrived at work at 9:30 AM
6) Met more people and chatted
7) Readings and work
8) Lunch
9) 3 hours long meeting discussing our plans in the grand scheme of plans ^_^
10) 3-5:30: Readings and work
11) 5:30: Hopped on a shuttle back to campus
12) Relaxed
13) Ordered Chinese food with coupons I got...and stuffed my face after not eating for 9 hours since lunch....impressive, isn't it? xD
14) Here I am now...surfing internet and AD ^_^

I think I'll just stay in and work from my computer tomorrow. I love the telework option I can do each week. ^_^
