What did you do today?

I got all the running done. We managed to get the application filled for hubby at a new manufacturing plant that should now open in January. They are a little behind in construction. Also, picked up some papers from the Town Hall, went to the surveyor's twice, once to pick up paper, then home to have MIL sign, then back to deliver said paper. I am home. Ain't gonna go nowhere else today.
 
Oy. I hope you don't have to become her morning chauffeur.
 
Got the signal arm in the van fixed ($347, holy crap!), had a nice visit with deafie friend and her daughter, read AD posts and learned waaaayyy too much about people's Q-tip habits. :eek2:

my good friend/ pseudo "sister" from DC is visiting here for a week or two. saw her this morning and had a good chat with her :)

In a slight different context voted in the Ontario election- throw the "bums out/ or bring in - another collection? Right- tough with so many bums/politicians around!

Back to normal-deaf swimming and a hot 5 for Bottesini who is relaxing in the Rocking Chair hoping her herd of hound-sleep for 3 days! A real deserved rest! Enjoy EarleGrey's tea!

went to counseling, then grabbed lunch from Burger King and went to work. Currently at work. I'd rather be at home watching my African dwarf frogs and fish swim around in their tank.
 
We did our library run a day late. Came home to vacuum, dust, sweep and mop just to placate MIL, but didn't help much. Mixed the polenta for dinner and it is now in the muffin tin molds for the broiler later.
