So far today - usual morning chores, went to Deaf church, took all kinds of notes, went to the grocery on my way home and after getting home, fixed lunch. Now, I am relaxing a little before I type up all my notes and post them on FB for our church's FB page.

Good Luck! I believe that you will get the job there for sure. Perhaps just tell that how loyal you are that you want to work for the company or something better of a way for you say to them. Like I need to work to make money - that's not how it works. You just say that I know your company for a long time and decide to work for you...

Well - after morning chores, I went grocery shopping at Aldi's and Whole Foods. Came home and fixed lunch. Soon I will go out and switch out the litter box then later I will be ready to take MIL to her weight loss meeting. I think I may provide them with some info regarding "meatless" meals as that is a topic they have been talking about.

Raiders beat the Jets yesterday. Poor Rex Ryan begged the refs for the td. Final score Raiders 34 Jets 24.

Man I wished I had seen it...maybe the next one...and did that really happen...well, this game. It makes up for the humiliation with the last game. That last game was just unfair to me, and we started off so well. *shakes head

Speaking of Chinese food, I'm thinking I'll get a round bottomed wok with a wok ring designed for electric stoves. According to this site and this site, it should work well for both Chinese and Thai cooking.

We have one that my mother got about 25 years ago. Right now, it's packed up in storage since we have no where in MIL's house to put it. I am so looking forward to using it again. I had someone tell me that it is great to cook tofu in. Not too sure about that. I think I will stick with my non-stick pan for the tofu.

I went to a friend's house and their little girl excitedly asked me to see the snake she caught earlier in the day. She took off the cover to the glass aquarium and the snake was not there. Mom and Dad were a tad concerned.

Deaf skeptic, I'm a purist. I must cook chinese in a wok on a gas flame. Since I have a sucky electric stove (no gas), I have a butane burner and I use it on the patio. YMMY. If you want more selection, try your local asian store.

I went to the mall early to watch one granddaughter play and keep my daughter company.

Then now, just back from walking to the mall with the other daughter . At the mall I ate Kobari beef and rice.

BTW, I got my wok and butane burner at the Asian store. I also got a rice cooker which I love. Fast sticky rice! I'm going to stir fry for dinner tomorrow. Thanks for the idea!
