Went to 2 libraries, got a parking ticket that I get to have reduced tomorrow, did a lot of soul-searching, read 2 books, looked over recipes for vegan cooking, cleaned bathroom, played with 2 cats and got all scratched up by one of them.

I forgot to hang my handicapped parking placard when I went to the city library in the parking garage. I parked in the handicapped spot and forgot to hang the placard. $252 fine if I did not have it, or $7.50 for forgetting to display. For this, I will take the $7.50 and find a way to remember. You have to remove it when driving and around here, they will ticket you for having it up when driving.

Today I text my sister so she will phone Nan in Newfoundland for her toutons recipe. I will cook toutons tonight!!!

Day started badly as I thought my PC had a trojan that had successfully captured my bank details & password. I couldn't get rid of a mysterious FAKEMSI program that appeared on my Programs list. When I tried to delete the trojan (unsuccessfully) the software I use to store my banking details mysteriously updated itself. In a panic, I got my wife phoned our bank to lock down our account. The strange thing was that my AV software couldn't detect it. After much searching & scanning & tinkering around I downgraded the trojan threat to registry errors. It was tedious manually going through the registry and deleting the erroneous lines, but I eventually the completed the task. I just hope I haven't accidentally crippled my PC through my manual alterations of the registry! :fingersx:

Virus scanners only find these things that they are aware of. New ones are not updated in the definition list. :)

Yesterday, I finally washed my bed sheets and blanket. Cheap ass bed sheets from Meijer. Next time I buy bed sheets, Ill go to Walmart. Maybe they have better sheets. I actually sprayed my matress with lysol fabric mist each side of matress.[/QUOTE] by DeafTim

Talk about TMI, sheesh......

getting better slowly....got appt with doc on thurs to ask for more meds i think 1 weeks supply is not enough to kill it all off

Ouchie I hope you are feeling better.. keep posting the deep wicked gifs or pictures. ;)

Did a lot of errands today and gassed up...stopped by the Pet Store to ask if they would take my Cocktiels along with the Parrot cage they live in. I'm suspecting that my allergies have gotton worse due to the dander from the birds, since I keep them in my bedroom, due to their constantly squaking, whistling & singing....the owner said he would, but would not offer me even 1 dime for them or the cage!....So I decided just to take the birds to him for resale, hoping they would be sold together.....and sell the cage for a couple of hundred bucks...

Got back home, decided to go ahead and take the birds out...when they both came up to me for a kiss....so I just melted...I can't give my Cocktiels away!...have been really congested and sinus pressure for about a month...so I'm gonna blame it on the weather!...Got some meds today and feeling a little better...

I don't have room for them anywhere else except the dining room and with all the noises they make the boys complain and complain they can't hear the TV for the singing and whistling....Would be great if we all were DEAF!...:giggle:

Yeah - thinking about taping it down. Would have to replace tape due to the heat, but it's better than forgetting it. Also, I sometimes have to use it when we go out in the Expedition.

eek! I don't think people should keep a bird cage in bedroom. That's a serious health hazard. :Ohno:

Where do you suggest that I keep them? The cage is very big...so they have a lot of toys and room to roam, fly, whatever....putting the cage in the dining room, noone could be able to eat with all they noise that they make....and I've had them for many years.

living room.

about noise issue... they're still noisy even if you put cloth over the cage?

They were in the living room before...so they could watch TV :)giggle:)...but they still squaked & whistled at random, especially when someone came in the door. The boys were really annoyed at it...and at times whenever I have company, then they have to sleep on the sofa. As for a cloth, only when it's bedtime, and they still wake up during the night squaking & whistling. It's as if they keep their "own hours"....a relative of mine said "those damn birds kept me up all night long" awhile back....

What I'm gonna do is make a couple of VP calls and see if any of my deaf friends who do not have a hearie in the home, might want them....:P....Otherwise, they just probably will go to the Pet Store for resale.
