What did you do today? Part II

So far the day is early but the Xmas tree and decor is going up today hopefully!
 
One of my friends put her Christmas tree up the day after Halloween. :shock:
 
staying at my friend's tonight... a girls' night out is just what i need
 
Today is the day to support a local , small , business. So we stocked up at a local Mexican grocery store.
 
Nieces still here. Wake up, they have bubble bath my jacuzzi tub. Then I make pink pancakes for breakfast, and put crockpot homemade vegetable black bean soup. Bake buns. Curl nieces hair hot rollers, they curl mine. Now we watch Christmas move (Miracle on 34 Street).

I saw your pix! So, is this something that happens yearly where you live or ? I don't recall seeing anything about that for around here where I live.

American Express advertised it... Shop Small Business Saturday. The Saturday after Thanksgiving.

I imagine it probably is. Here, most checks are good for 90 days. It actually should say so right on the check how long it is good for. Maybe you can get it re-issued?

My husband is the one who knew about it. I am guilty of not keeping up.

But it seemed like a good idea.
 
Did drop off old office chair and smaller coffee table at thrift store as I have no need for them due to better coffee table (underneath area where I can have my legs thru so no whacking against the wood bottom as was the case with the old coffee table which had small closet inside).. and I had the other office chair from my data entry job which I got last year to get to take home so lucky me.. hehe.. now to move my bike out soon (got new one with lower bar) so.. ah.. more work to do and havent gotten around to setting up xmas tree yet but will later after I am done with CFL football Grey Cup game tomorrow... wooo go Blue Bombers go!!! hehe..
 
Came home from my vacation. Botti, sorry, we flew over Missouri, not Iowa, so I didn't drop a sock monkey from the plane. First time I've flown in a plane with headrest screens & one of the options was tracking the flight.

You would have had problems with the crew anyway if you tried to open a door to throw my sock monkey! :P
 
I tried out Eggies and made pumpkin-applesauce muffins. Pics on FB. It was a good day. I was able to be on my feet for a long time. :D

What is this Eggies? I saw the picture, but couldn't make sense of what I was seeing.
 
Today I did... absolutely nothing! enjoying my day off at home yay me! :D
