My daughter wasnt feeling good cuz she hurt her knee at NC. Now, she is on crutches because she sprained it.

My son is another story. He might have the H1N1 flu and was tested for it today. Will find out the results. His fever was 105 this am. Also, his asthma returned with full force so we are very very very worried. Pls pray for us. Thanks

I will pray for you and for your little boy to recover quickly.

Oh wow!!

The Doctor told me if my daughters fever goes above 104. Take her to the ER. That is a dangerously high fever. Is your son in the Hospital now?

shel,

aww, i am sorry about your boy. Oh, his fever was 105. have you told your doctor about it? if any kids with fevers were over 104, then they need to see doctors as soon as possible. he's in my thought.

Shel...

The Doctor also told me to alternate Tylenol and Motrin. To help with her Fever.

I am thinking I need to get to bed. Probably going to be another long night with my sick child.

Sorry to hear about everyone's sick kids. Yeah, BB, the doctor told me years ago to alternate Tylenol with Motrin for my son's fevers. It seems to work much better. Since he had febrile seizures, it was really important to be able to control them.

thanks everyone! Nathan tested negative for the Swine Flu..whew! However, the drs want to see him again tmw to do more testing to see why he is struggling to breathe despite getting asthma meds. Maybe he has pneomonia.

He seems better today and has an appetite. Now, my daughter is the one who is crying saying her knee hurts but she started that when she started with her homework. Oh boy...

 for your thoughts and concerns!

Good. let's hope that he will have speed recovery soon. Poor little boy.
My son has a mild asthma and taking two medicine. But i need to check with doctor about the inhaler for playing sports to see if he needs it or not.

Good to know that Nathan tested negative. Showing an appetite is a good sign, too.

Silly girl! Probably more that she doesn't want to do her homework!:giggle: Prop her leg up, give her a couple Tylenol, and hand her her books!:giggle:

Febrile seizures is a scary thing. My children never had it but I have seen it before at the center I used to work at. Scary!

Thinking how happy I am seeing my daughter finally smiling and eating some today. Her fever has been staying down. Seems like she is recovering quickly.

Alternating Tylenol and Motrin is the best!!

Today I'm really happy because the swelling in my legs have gone way down. I was able to put my feet in my favorite pair of leather shoes that my mother bought me while I was recovering from a severe case of cellulitis. In the past when I wore things like sandals or flipflops, I could not squeeze my feet into my favorite leather shoes at the end of the day.

Yesterday, I was able to wear my boots for the first time since my heart surgery. Last week I tried but my feet were too swollen.

Now shopping for shoes won't leave me depressed. However, I'm not looking forward to what my mother will have to say about my choices. She keeps saying my style is too "young" and trendy - though a lot of my clothes are classics, I don't dress classically. As for my mother's style, think Angela Lansbury from "Murder She Wrote". My style is more like Gwen Sefani. I'll worry about it later..

I am nervous about meeting my classmates from jr hs tomorrow its been over 20 years :Ohno:

what do you like to do?

The Internet is about all I do. That, and television. I'm thinking I should do some more reading... because lately I have been feeling a bit brain dead. I hope I'm not the only one that feels that way sometimes.
