Good to know that Nathan tested negative. Showing an appetite is a good sign, too.

Silly girl! Probably more that she doesn't want to do her homework!:giggle: Prop her leg up, give her a couple Tylenol, and hand her her books!:giggle:

Now, that my daughter is living with us full time, I cant believe how her moods swing so dramatically. My ex hubby was right..she has an attitude problem. Interesting...

It is always great to see our kids back to their normal selves, isnt it?

Glad she is feeling better. :)

Yes!! Glad to see her smile and eat.

I am glad your son is better. Hope they do find out a way to make him feel better with his asthma.

Hope your daughter feel better soon too with her knee...

Even though my daughter plays that game sometimes.... when she has to do something she doesn't want to.

I'm thinking about how I long to go to Disney World with my parents and two sisters, how they are so lucky to be in Florida for a week. It's quite a bummer that I wasn't invited to go, but oh well, maybe next time.

that sucks you didn't go. Hopefully you'll get lucky next time.

How's that 900-page book going for you?

I'm thinking about how I still have so much homework to do...

Thinking that I can't wait to get off. Too many sick kids here. Sent two home already.

Deep in thought after watching Obama's speech last night....altho' it doesn't affect me (Medicare)...it does so many other people....I'm praying the right decision will be made....also "relieved" we've had no bad Hurricanes so far, weather is beautiful......Anxious to see what my son has learned in ASL class today!

I want it to be Friday eve already!!!!!! :hyper: I wanna go to the zoo and Saturday isn't coming fast enough!!!! *pout*

Today I'm really happy because the swelling in my legs have gone way down. I was able to put my feet in my favorite pair of leather shoes that my mother bought me while I was recovering from a severe case of cellulitis. In the past when I wore things like sandals or flipflops, I could not squeeze my feet into my favorite leather shoes at the end of the day.

Yesterday, I was able to wear my boots for the first time since my heart surgery. Last week I tried but my feet were too swollen.

Now shopping for shoes won't leave me depressed. However, I'm not looking forward to what my mother will have to say about my choices. She keeps saying my style is too "young" and trendy - though a lot of my clothes are classics, I don't dress classically. As for my mother's style, think Angela Lansbury from "Murder She Wrote". My style is more like Gwen Sefani. I'll worry about it later..

Yay!! The swelling going down is a definate good sign!

Thinking about Joey, our newest family member. A rescued Pekingese. He loves our dogs, our yard our house. He was good at the veterinarian's office.

Plus by the money we paid the rescue league we help other animal.

Botti! Congrats on your new furry addition! Very cute! I like that name, Joey for him. And it's nice that you took the time to look at a more mature dog; dogs over say three -even small guys - often don't get adopted.

Glad for those whose family members and themselves who are doing better too.

Thinking about the handyperson guy my folks recommended who is coming tonight to look at two doors - the side entry we use as main door and garage side door - that need to be fixed, as well as gaps in siding where these used to be "insulator cups" <? has to do w/wiring- hubby would know exact name and purpose, maybe others on here know what I'm referring to>. The cups were pulled out from siding when we had a crab tree fall down last week and land on the wires attached to the house, thereby pulling the wires down with it, which then took these "cups" too. So now there are gaps in the side of the house. So we are having couple different estimates and the second person comes tonight to see. That and the two doors I mentioned.
